First off, dont know what a like ratio is and could care less.

Second, if you are saying you dont like him why, because he was on the other sideline against us? Hes improved the D and just had his D post a shutout. Are you saying all these haters are of the mindset hes an amazing coach, good at what he does and they just despise him for no real reason?

I’ll start by saying I’m not emotionally tied to any coach. They are all pricks, at least the good ones anyway. Mullen probably just meant to say he’s the best DC I’ve ever had, and he would probably be right. Anyone that can get that level out of last year’s roster deserves a tip of the cap at least.

Do I think Grantham is solid? Yeah. Maybe Semi-elite. He is hanging his hat on sacks and turnovers, for sure, which can lead to a lot of opportunities on offense. He is also incredibly stubborn, which is a great asset until it isn’t. Could we do better, maybe, but the better pool is small and the worse is an ocean.

What I would love to see is us bring in Strong once he leaves for the pros....he keeps losing at USF the better that is looking

we'd be a heck of a lot better star wise on the defensive side of the ball. Theres no question about that.

I know there are some of you who can't wait for him to leave, but I like his style of risky defense. I think many of the kids do as well. I think it gets results!

They get home, and that's something that's been lacking since the glory days. It's an aggressive exciting style that attracts interest, and gets your offense right back on the field either way.

Send him out tonight. Liability in every sense of the word. I can write up an all out blitz every meaningless play. And I guarantee I’ll recruit better.

The D looked just great against Kentucky, didn't it? That's on Grantham. And why the heck is there so much posturing in the secondary after making a tackle 20 yards downfield?

I particularly liked the finger wagging after giving up a 3d and 20. Ridiculous.
