Win the game. The majority of fan bases would take our 3-0 start in a heart beat. Just ask UK.
Finding a way to win these kinds of games helps a team to believe and come together. When I saw
early on how UK was beating us on the lines I thought to myself those big fatazzes cannot do that an
entire game. I knew with Savage we had a chance to beat them in the end. I saw lots of their boys down in the fourth qtr. This UK program is playing better than they have in many decades. We lose our best pass rusher early and still win. We go into the 4th qtr down by two scores and still win. We are on the road in a loud stadium and bring in the 2nd team QB and still win. Somebody coached him up. David Reese stepped up
in the 4th qtr. This team has character and play for each other. Give me all the what ifs you want and
all the bad but at the end of the day we are 3-0. Trask now has 2 home games to get settled in to the
starting roll. He had a GREAT start last night.

Kentucky dominated us for four quarters. They were stronger on both sides of the ball. Luckily Stoops took his foot off the gas pedal at the end of the first half, and was content to settle for a midrange field goat that they missed. I am very happy we won the game but am disappointed in the fact that we are not nearly as good as everyone was thinking. Hopefully this will be like last years Kentucky game where we ended up winning a lot more games and being better than I thought we would be.

I'll take the win and very glad for it. I won't say Kentucky was the better, because better teams find a way to win and that's what UF did last night. We always have fits with UK. Always have and probably always will. But they were a team that wore down last night. You can tell by the 385 pound lard azz NT by the 4th. UK played well enough to win, but in the end.......they folded. There are a lot of what if's and you could go on for days about it. The Gators have a lot to work on, but in recent years, especially under Butters....this team would have been the one to fold. Good win, get ready for the inbreds, and Go Gators.

Still not sold that Mullen is who takes us back to glory, but after 10 years he is stabilizing the program even if recruiting is poor. We win games we have no business winning and compete for the most part in all of them except for a few. There is still lots of work to do, but we are winning games that would have been blowouts under Champ and Butters.

I am happy with our 3-0 start, but I said this with Chimp, I hate these games where we have depend on a missed FG or a screw up by the other team. Ugly wins suck. But, I will take them all day.

We looked awful the first three quarters. You can always tell what kind of game it is by watching Franks the first couple series. Which one shows up.

Our OL and DL were owned by KY for most of the game. When the game was on the line, we let them drive down for a FG try and got LUCKY that this kid missed. Had he not, I doubt we would have been able to pull of the sweep. At that point I think they had given up. Ugly win. We have to clean this crap up. And for goodness sake, why did we not try and pressure their QB?

This thread is basically an adjunct of "lucky SOB." We're 3-0 and just as easily could be 1-2.

Style points don't necessarily win games, but we all know what happens when you constantly play with fire. Our margin of error is ever so slim.

I dont think so. I don't think we were lucky. We were tougher physically at the end and mentally. We missed an easy FG too. So even
in that dept. And if we hit it we take that exp point. My real point is you make your luck most of the time. Apparently, DM had Trask ready to go and he lead us to victory. Hats off to the "winners"

No question we were gritty when we needed to be. That's been a hallmark of this team since Mullen returned. We've had several come-from-behind wins. We're the Cardiac Kids of the SEC East.

That said, little things can swing football games. When you win like we're winning, you're living dangerously.

SOS teams were serious front-runners, not so good at coming from behind. Mullen, until he gets his recruiting pants on, is apparently going to make a living doing the opposite.

Hope he's as relentless as he preaches. He's gonna need it.

Gritty. This is why I think Franks was always Mullen’s starter. Franks is also gritty. Think what you want about all of the shushing and mugging for the camera, but Franks is tough. I think the limping he sometimes did was a bit dramatic but I really think he wanted the fan base to know he was going all out. I don’t think he’s the sharpest tool in the shed, but he’s no pussy and I wish him a speedy recovery and a fine career in baseball.

This is so fvkking stupid.

We arent winning games we have no business winning. We are NEARLY losing games we have no business losing. Or maybe
we win games in last second come from behinds that we should be blowing out maybe.

We have no business beating Bammer, Climpson, OSU and Dwags and we never will under this staff

We have no business ever losing to Kintucky or Methzu or any of the other dregs of the SEC. or scUM. Ever, and we will at about a 50% clip according to Mullinz' resume.
