I don’t always agree with everything you say, but I do enjoy the podcasts and hearing your take on Gator football. I’m glad they’re back and keep them coming. Great job, Ox!

Actually, I do agree with most of it usually, and this podcast was pretty spot on. Go Gators!

Last year we got our schyt pushed in by a Kentucky team that looked bigger stronger and faster than us on the field. Then we grew into a halfway decent football team, despite the UGA loss and the hangover loss to Mizzou. At the end of the year we were playing at least a fairly ok brand of football. No, not championship caliber but ok.

This year we survived Kentucky and I expect us to grow into a decent team once again but there will be a couple losses along the way. What I'm hoping the difference is is that we retain some semblance of an offensive line afterward so we aren't basically starting the most important position group from scratch.

I agree. It's going to be interesting. Trask throws a good ball. Hopefully he does at least as well as Franks did at his decision making. I do not think EJ is ready based on what I saw a couple weeks ago. There's a reason Trask was sent out there after Franks went down.

Really proud for Kyle, he trotted right out into a hostile pit 11 points down and took command. It was great to see - the kid put the team on his shoulders and won the game. Shocked the crowd and our own Gator Nation - Really looking forward to this new era in Gator football. Saturday night's game in Lexington will live in Gator lore for way into the future. Welcome to the Big Stage Kyle, you're ready to make your mark on Gator football. Now go kickass on Toofless, Gator Nation is behind you!

Enjoyed the podcast. Seeing what Mullen does with this offense now with Franks gone will be interesting. What Mullen needs most that this offense lacks is a power back. Obviously he does best when his QB is that power back, but it's disappointing that we don't seem to have RBs that can fill that role. Hopefully Mullen will find more ways to get the ball to his playmakers (all WRs) to compensate.

Also fortunate that we get 2 warmup games for the new QBs and to adjust the offense before real SEC play.

Your rant about FF your opening segment is bush league and wrong. You have no idea if FF reads headlines and such. He didn't shush 'fans' because of the whining and complaining about him in headlines or social media ... he shushed 'fans' because they booed him on his home field ... which is also bush league.

Furthermore, his stats prove otherwise about his play this season. He played very good and had great stats to back that. With that said, it was obvious something was just missing with him. He held onto it too long, he had no clock in his head of when to tuck it and run and I think CDM running him the way he did didn't do him any favors. FF is a great runner when he finally tucks it and runs on a pass play ... but just not very good when it is a called keeper.

Agree with everything else though.

It’s called an opinion and I’m entitled to it. From this response, there’s no question you’re a relative.

The implication that Franks may be a little thin skinned is not a new revelation. His actions speak.

Nobody said he wasn't thin skinned ... I'd say he is just emotional and doesn't have a poker face ... but you went way beyone he is thin skinned. You made some big time inferrences as to what he was reacting too. No player should get booed at home unless it is a truly worthy response to what is seen on the field. If I was a UK fan I would have booed that LB for trying to twist Trask's ankle for example.

Maybe no one SHOULD get booed by their home fans, but they have for decades. It’s just part of being a football player. I’ve seen dozens of quarterbacks get booed by their own fans over the years. Never have I seen anyone do what Franks did, because there’s no upside to it. None.

In my opinion, Franks is too immature and thin skinned to be a quarterback.

He put his finger to his facemask. That is all. Your level of hangup on that action clouds your judgement on him just the same as those who are hung up on how horrible CUM crumbled and left.

You really think that’s the only time he’s shown that he’s thin skinned?
