If you're not the leader of the team, the whole team doesn't gather around you like they did last Saturday...
This is such a false narrative. If a walk on special teams gunner has that type of gruesome injury requiring a cart, most of the team comes out. This point of the team supported him is made up by those that already supported him. I’d love to see one video of any player getting that type of injury and the team acting indifferent. It just doesn’t happen, so the support for Franks there means nothing. It also doesn’t mean he wasn’t a leader, it’s just irrelevant.
My guess is we see a lot more zone
We’ll see zone a lot as long as Danno M continues to run ~60% of the time, run about 58 plays a game, and we have a QB that isn’t pressuring the defense downfield in the seams and deep middle. Trask being unproven and perhaps likely to throw picks only increases that chance of seeing zone, not the opposite.
Even LSU may play us more zone than most other teams they play, and they are very man heavy.
The one aspect that makes zone less needed is Trask may not run much so the db’s backs turned in man isn’t too concerning. If EJ plays, we may see even more zone or combo D’s with under zones or a spy.
