Florida is currently on an 8 game win streak dating back to embarrassing Musdump late last year. Florida should be on a 9 game streak heading into Auburn. Currently the longest streak in the conference

Florida has thrown for 300 yards in 3 straight games for the first time since 2007, Tebow’s heisman banner year.

Florida has only allowed 17 second half points this season.

Florida is on pace for 3,537 passing yards during the 12 game regular season. Would be the most passing yards in a season since Rex Grossman in 2001 (12 games including blowout Maryland Orange bowl victory) when he passed for 3800. (Friendly reminder I’m not claiming this is going to happen, but with our running game the way it is, who knows)

Even though Florida can’t run for its life, has lost it’s starting qb, and has played 3 p5 teams in its first 4 games, Florida currently has the 39th total offense in the country and is averaging 33 pts per game. Not great, but not as bad as it could be. And a sight for sore eyes after the offensive abortion we’ve been through for the last 9 seasons.

Auburn currently has the 41st ranked offense averaging 424 yards per game (in comparison, Florida averages 432, with 1179 passing yards on the season, 295 a game. ) They’re only passing for 164 yards per game, so our rush defense needs to get conserably better. They average 260 a game on the ground. Conversely, Florida is only giving up 92 yards on the ground per game and only 11 pts per game.

Auburn’s D is not far behind, giving up 89 on the ground a game but also giving up 227 through the air. Florida gives up 193, which I’m not worried auburn will get close to with Bo Nix at QB.

They’re a decent team that got lucky with Oregon having some boneheaded late game play calling gaffs. Winning at AM is impressive although I think they’re heavily overrating Jimbos presence there. Auburn having two big prime time wins helps the national appeal for the Florida game, which with ESPN going full hatred on us, can go along way to solidifying Florida as a solid top 10-15 team in the eyes of a lot of people.

Think Florida wins 27-14. A very manageable team and as long as we don’t Grantham it up, Florida miraculously beats another team with more talent than they have.

Older Gators will recognize the family connection. Bo's dad, Patrick, burned us with a late pass to Frank Sanders in 1994.

Auburn's OL has issues. Good time to send the horses after the youngster.

We are talking about the team that lost to Tennessee last season while also having their fantastic beginning of the season wins also. Its Auburn the only way they beat us or anyone is pure luck
That could be coaching too, no?

Auburn has beaten two legitimate teams, we have beaten none.
Let's not act like Oregon and TAMU are legitimate teams because they're ranked in the preseason. TAMU is headed for 7-5 at best, and Oregon is likely headed for another 3-4 losses, as well.

Auburn has a great defensive front and a formidable rushing attack, and that's about it. They aren't a very good passing team, no matter how much people swing on Nix's nuts, and their pass defense is suspect. I don't think it'll be a particularly high scoring game, but it's very winnable for us.

Well those two are more legitimate than any teams we’ve defeated so far. Auburn can stuff the run and run the ball well, not a good recipe for us. Maybe we’ll be able to take advantage of their secondary and jump out in front of them to get them out of their comfort zone.

Both teams still better than anyone we played so far.

Agree with everything except for Auburn having more talent
They do based of recruiting talent composites

43 4 stars
3 5 stars
33 3 stars

82 total players

Florida has
1 five star (2 if you count grimes on rivals)
38 4 stars
35 3 stars

The talent percentage is off by just a couple fraction of percentages though. If Florida had diwun, Jones, and henderson Florida is probably at around 10th in the composite. Not much difference from 8-16th

Do we count a five star who is not eligible to play on the team talent composite?

Yeah they both are on the mediocre side. But Either way the media doesn’t care about reality so they’ll still hype auburn up which is a plus for us

Red shirts still can play any 4 games in the season. Ineligible player can't contribute to any snaps at all. No?
He’s on the roster man. Let’s try to minimize goal post moving for one day

Edit: I mean I totally get what you’re saying. He’s not a contributing part of the roster from a game perspective. They do practice him a lot though, and seems they expect him to get cleared at some point

Lol please don't start the whole goal posts thing with me. I have not set any goal posts and I am not moving anything. If anything to your point I think Auburn has even more talent if we count our only consensus 5 star out. Does Auburn have any ineligible players on their roster?

It will be a tough hard fought win that will say a lot about this team.
