all we have to do to fix the run game is stop letting a defensive end come free and add a fullback.

there's a reason Notre Dame doesn't run that **** anymore.
Hmmmmm. One dimensional you say. Well, two pass happy as hell NFL teams have pretty good damn success without running games. KC Chiefs for one who run a passing to run plays ratio of 62.5% to 37.5%. I call that a pass happy offense. Then there is the NO Saints who run a passing to run plays ratio of 66.39% to 33.61%. Those are one dimensional teams that both won 12 and 13 games respectively last year. If you have the right coach and the right QB that one dimensional stuff doesn't mean a damn thing.

We had more rushing attempts yesterday than passing attempts, we just didn't run it well. We ain't gonna pass it 65% of the time unless we're getting blown out. Hell even Spurrier didn't do that, unless we were way behind. He was a lot more balanced than people give him credit for.

I LOVE SOS. But this game isn't the same as it was in the 90's. It's evolving. An example is teams are more QB centric than ever. Don't believe me? You didn't get drafted as a QB unless you were AT LEAST 6'3 and up. Drew Brees and Russell Wilson are changing that. Teams are starting to throw more than run in their offenses. Besides once teams start to concentrate on our passing prowess and Mullen starts passing to set up the run you'll see the running game improve. But as I've said you can even now see the game changing. Think LSU....

I hope you’ll be right, I just don’t see us having the success against the better defenses we’ll be facing coming up.

I'll be happy if we get a 100 yards on any of these teams anyway we can. I think we have a chance in all of them. Especially at home. Mizzou is beatable.

Alabama will beat LSU by double digits. LSU is a paper tiger and will lose to UF, too.

Appropriate name is appropriate. Your discrediting of other teams has never been short of outrageous.

I’m pretty sure we get to start out that month 5-0, after we handle Towson. I’m a confirmed dumper, but c’mon and allow yourself to be happy...it’s been so long....
it's really not. we've been undefeated pretty much every September since the 90s.

Even the crappy coaches of the Lost Decades go undefeated in September.

I actually wouldn't be surprised at all if LSU, Auburn and UGA were all way overhyped. UGA barely beat an unimpressive Notre Dame, LSU's defense does seem suspect and Auburn's offense seems weak. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Bo Nix turned it over a couple times against us

Really?...I love the Gators but we've beat up the VOLS. We squeaked by KY and the U.
Our run game is ...well suspect.

I hope you are right but UGA, LSU and AUB are not the U

May come as a shock to you bro, but defenses will adjust to Trask, especially if we remain one dimensional.

They will try, but with our receivers that might be a very difficult chore. Now if they can confuse him that would work, I bet it won't. After all he had a whole year to study tapes and is very mature.

How about we pass the ball when there are 8 defenders in the box and also until someone stops us? When we get a lot of passing yards that should open up the running game, and if we get our most dynamic player back that will help also.
