While ignoring every other post (so if I repeat someone else, oh well), this extension is every bit as dumb as giving Champ or Mac an extension. If your response is about how on paper we should have Final Four talent, then let me say on paper Zook had National Title talent. Hopefully this doesn’t age well, but giving a coach who hasn’t done much since his first year a raise solely on the roster talent is a joke. If he proves something this year, hell yeah. If he doesn’t, you just cost boosters a lot of buyout money.

Same here.
I felt like this year is the "contract year" for him now that he has all the pieces and a talented roster overall.
Although I am expecting good things this year, I would have preferred to wait for it to happen

Because jay wright goes one and done running the same ****. Hell, white hasn't gone one and done in the tourney in his 3 years of making it here.

He’s done shyte at UF except for the 2016-17 team. A huge disappointment so far which is why I have no faith this team will do anything. I’m hoping the talent on the floor is enough to overcome the deficiencies in the head coach.

5 tournament wins in the last 3 years. Just signed a top 5 recruiting class. Landed the best grad transfer in the country. I'd say he deserves a raise. He's got our roster looking like it'll be top 10 for the next 2 or 3 years.

Thanx for the info, but that sux. I always enjoyed @LeeForThree during the basketball season b/c he was not afraid to give an honest opinion and watched games not based on the final scores. Hopefully he will come back for hoops.

I have no confidence in him as a game day coach. As for recruiting, can he duplicate the recent success? We will see.
