Tennessee is absolutely horrible. Pruitt is on the major hot seat, rightfully so and so should Phat Phil be for hiring this moron... They're so bad we won 34 - 3 and did not move up in the polls.

Mike Leach wouldn’t have had UT winning titles, but they would have been scaring the bejesus out of teams with their scoring. He also would have brought national attention to the program - most people have forgotten UT exists.

I’m glad Fulmer is there to continue the downfall of the program.
If leach can get Texas tech one game away from a championship and keep wazzu constantly in the top 25, he could probably get Tennessee in the playoffs. They usually pull in top 20 classes pretty easily. He'd have been able put together his most talented teams. God bless Mr fulmer.

Are you saying that a good coach and only top twenty recruiting classes can reach the playoffs?

No. But Pirate's style could cause him to beat a few teams who aren't capable with playing in a shootout, which is most SEC teams.

Mizzu is similar. They will never win anything but they beat teams they shouldn't against ball control coaches.

Let him answer for himself, although he already has. Your spin skills are legendary, but every once in a while the truth slips out.

Leach will never win anything. Just doesn’t care about defense. Didn’t his team just score 60+ and lose?

Yes I'm saying that. Under certain circumstances. As law alluded to, it would be a matchup nightmare for ball control offenses. And he's out perforformd his recruiting rankings. I don't think he'd be consistently contending for em or anything like that though.

And this means what to the Vols? He would have at least put them back on the college football map.

Law is right, most SEC teams cannot handle shootouts.
