That’s fine. I like a filet but usually don’t cook that at home. Strip and porterhouse adorned with just salt and pepper have more flavor than a plain filet IMO. Add some lump crab and bernaise to the filet and that’s some good stuff...but I don’t want to go through that much trouble at home so I save that for the high end steakhouse.

Well, he wasn’t her first choice, so she was probably lukewarm initially. But her other options either moved to the Midwest never to be heard from again, or got involved in gay porn in LA.

So all in all, she’s happy. Some of her girlfriends like Isabelle Trazenstein have been a little slow to come around, but they’re still cool with him.

In my opinion, the biggest problem with pork, is that hogs have been bred for growth without much thought into the taste side. That coupled with hogs will eat damn near anything often times they will get "finished" on less than ideal rations.

Where the beef industry has been focused on multi trait selections including growth, intramuscular fat, tenderness and such, they typically have a more appealing product.

Take a 1" chop, stuff with cayenne pepper then throw it on the smoker

Publix has a real good bacon wrapped cajun pork tenderloin, I've baked and smoked them

Bought a bottle of small batch, Jalisco-made, 12 year tequila. The taste test was the best tequila I’ve ever tasted. No mixing this in margaritas.
