All are routinely diminished but the truth is all are pretty damn good.

Mullen is developing talent. He’s coaching up QB’s like a master. He’s calling good games and spreading the ball around. He’s building culture and establishing a standard. He has brought a cohesiveness we haven’t seen in years. Recruiting will follow naturally.

Grantham has put together a band of junkyard dogs. He leads the nation in sacks and interceptions. He grounded the war eagle. He has done this without 5 stars and with undersized players, playing out of position...who are allegedly a step slow.

Our young men read all the things they supposedly don’t do very well. Then they lace them up and go win games.

6-0. That’s all we could have expected of them halfway through the season.

I don’t know how well we will play the 2nd half. But I do believe we are rebuilding the brand....brick by brick.

Our D did this without a best player Zuniga. So we'll be very much better with Greenard and Zuniga. Especially, now that the rest of our D held up so well.

Third and Grantham was the reall damm deal today. They started inside OUR FORTY 4 or 5 times tonite and came away with 2 FGs. Our defense was incredible today. Like Mullen said, everyone was ready when their # was called. Pitts is a beast. Swain is a senior that leads by a great example. There are not enough words for the defensive play today.............They won this game.

But, but, but Mullen is supposed to be terrible against top teams and can't recruit and can't develop talent. But, but, but Trask is a 2* QB who hasn't played since 1st grade and shouldn't be any good. But, but, but Grantham is a horrible defensive coach and is terrible on 3rd downs. Hogwash! Mullen and the Gators are defying the odds and winning games the right way. Relentless Effort IS The Gator Standard. Go Gators!!

That Auburn game was sloppy, but we unslopped it correctly. Good-guys should be proud of how they fought with so much time spent on the field. How many other defenses would have wilted? Our S & C program sure is paying dividends. Develop and grow Gators.

Great defense to hold a #7 team after the offense handed them the ball too many times. Just enough offense with Swain, Pitts and a one-off 88 yard run. Honestly I thought Auburn was going to take us to the woodshed after watching them dismantle Mississippi State. Hats off to Mullen and Grantham.

I worried the same. And as we kept giving TOs that stopped our drives (potential 7 points) and set Auburn up for easier drives, well I thought it was gonna be one of those games where we let the enemy hang around 'til they decided to beat us.?? But our D-line was having none of that. Biggest congratulations go to Gator Defense, DBs included.

What was the deal with Zuniga today? I thought he was ready to go when he came out dressed.

So Mullen is masterminded enough to hold out Zuniga so he might not aggravate his mending ankle. Probably dressed for emergency use only if Auburn gashed us with their ballyhooed monstrous run-attack. We did not need to risk Zuniga. Surely hope Z is 100% against LSU.

Kinda agree with most of this ... but those last 3 words deserve a swift kick in the arse.
