Here's another one - Emmitt was 10-2 as a guest picker on Gameday.

DH was 8-4, LC was 8-4, and the "Gator-hater lots o'sweat maker" was a putrid 6-5.

Here is another impressive stat. Shawn Davis leads the nation in Interception Yards. Been a long time since we have had a player lead the nation in anything positive.

On a not so positive note, we are tied for 97th in the country for turnovers lost. Good thing we are doing so well in turnovers gained.

I said it last week, Herbstreit used to be somewhat of an expert and his selections were worth paying attention to.
I don't know if he is up to his neck in Ohio State slurping or if he banged out too many brains during those affairs in Columbus, but he has clearly lost his mojo and his selections carry zero weight with me. LC is nearly incapacitated mentally and he outperformed the sweat maker.

Herby validated that again this week.

I just wish he could earn some playing time.

Davis has been lights out since the opening kickoff of the Miami game.

If we keep turning the ball over like this, it will kill us in games we should win or at least be close in. Ugh.

But there was a circle around the helmet!

:triggered:

I'm ok with the circle, thought I understand those that wanted '06 Alabama helmets as well.

I'll go a step further. I'm a traditionalist and don't like a ton of change. But I'm also a minimalist. So as much as I do like the script, I'd take Saturday's helmets as the official going forward. It was just a great look, and certainly better than the F we've experimented with recently.

On that Auburn INT, Davis looked like Wisconsin's Jonathan Taylor running it back. Our DBackfield just may be gelling.?? LSU will be an excellent test - that we have to pass. Rise up Gator Defense. Geaux gouge 'em Gators.

Davis is emerging to be a very effective safety. A bit undersized but can cover and just makes plays.

These defensive stats are no joke! Didn't realize they looked this good. If we can keep them even close to these levels our Oct / Nov results are gonna make us all pumpers!

There’s a distinct possibility we could end the home slate only giving up that single touchdown to Auburn.

Oh how much fun will course through our veins if come Saturday our D sends Burrow fleeing and stumbling and falling without even getting many of his passes off ? Let Zuniga with Greenard et al cause Burrow to choke. Baton Rouge staggers more than usual that night.

The fact is their D gave up 38 points to VANDY the same team Ole miss held in check...they’re giving up points and yards to everyone and their offense is pretty great through the air but a porous D makes them pretty much a Big12 team...we’re gonna have to overcome the environment but that’ll be the biggest factor imo
