Even then, Trask wasn't our starter at the beginning of the season. LSU is kissed by the gods, those assh*les.

Yeah, it's a tricky stat because there's "current starter" and "opening starter". So like Driskel, the starter going into the season got the nod over Harris in 2014, when it would've been Treon if not for the sexual assault (Part 1). Similar in 2015, but with Harris benefiting instead. A year earlier, Murphy was the QB but wasn't to begin the season. DelRio had taken over for Franks in '17, but then got hurt, forcing us to go back to FF, and in 2011, we were on QB number 3.

So like you said, one way or the other, whether it's concussion, PEDs, injuries, legal battles, or attacks from rabid squirrels, we've entered this game with questions surrounding the most important position nearly every year for a decade. Their fortune is unheard of.

27-21 Gators, if Trask is 100%.

Here's an extra tip (just the tip): The kicking games could decide this one. You heard it here first, but it's all WAGs.

Interesting fact: In the 8 games played since 2010, only twice have we entered the game with the current starting QB('12, '18). Florida won both contests.

Assuming Trask is a go, this would be just the third time.

Something about Lsu, they always seem to be the beneficiary of some type of QB issue right before we play them. 2009-concussion, 2011-injury, 2013-injury, 2014-legal, 2015-PED, 2016-injury, 2017-you name it

Interesting info. This year I don't think LSU is the beneficiary of Trask replacing FF. That would be us.

28-21 corndogs, I think we are going to understand what Auburn went through here. There will be amped and juiced crowd. LSU is looking for a statement win (SEC one not some crappy Big 12 team). IF we dont turn the ball over and create some ourselves then we have a chance. Interesting that LSU is a worse rushing team than us, correct?

After Tebow and before FF, we have had ? at that position continuously. On top of that, we have had avg to below avg OL during that whole span as well ... but that still continues.

Yeah as I said, assuming he's good to go, this would be the third time in 9 contests that we had the QB who is technically our starter. Though as Sas pointed out, while we're definitely a better offense with him in there, it's still a QB change.

Like neteng pointed out, it's been a disastrous position since Tebow in general. It just seems to be the week of Lsu that it gets even dicier.

All the freaking turning the ball over this year is what concerns me about this game. Unlike other teams we’ve played, this years LSU team looks like they could really make us pay for being careless with the ball. It can’t happen this game.

It really has been one hell of a streak of bad QB play. Who would've guessed we'd have to suffer that for an entire decade!

35-31 we pull it out in the fourth with a gritty drive that leaves no doubt and burrow ends the game with an interception just like last year to silence the crowd for good

LSU's defense isn't as good as the Barn's......

That is the biggest plus for us going into this game.

I think we can YAC then to death!
