Can you believe LSU is favored by 13?

I can see why the line is 13+.... The Gator boys haven't played a "crisp" game yet. Miami, sloppy W, UK, Sloppy W, Barn, Sloppy W.
LSU looks better and the line reflects it.

But I'll take a sloppy W over a crisp L every day. And I'll admit I didn't expect a W against the barn, Their game against MSU fooled me too.

He's an overrated, walking joke that's going to get his face smashed in.
Now don't get Cocky and ahead of ourselves. The dude can ball. We'll have to limit him before we can smash him. Our corners will need to play their best game for us to win this contest. Back shoulder, laser guided darts are hard to defend. So yes, we'll need to smash his face. Get a couple of those strip sacks that Auburn produced.

Texas aside (a team they almost lost too), they also statistically havent played jack-**** for competition this year, their "success" is fools gold. The cookie monster has been leaving Burrow in cupcake games far longer than any other coach would to give him a shot at heading to NYC
The whole point of many of those advanced stats is to adjust for crappy opponents and running up the score in blowouts. They’ve been good throughout the entire game. Doesn’t mean they win, just means that by most statistical measures they are very good. Hopefully our defense changes that a bit this weekend.

Theyve played Texas and Vandy.

How useful are the stats?

This might be my personal favorite from that episode. It’s so classic Bugs.

Better than these?!?

While I think LSU is the clear favorite, I'd take UF and 13.5.

I've seen some articulate that the death valley home field advantage legend is overrated. UF was the only team to beat Nick Saban lead eventual national champion LSU @ LSU (although in the afternoon). I think it was Spurrier's last year where we beat LSU at LSU, at night, by about 30 ( scored 44) and that year LSU ended up being the SEC champion.

Let me guess - my post is going to effect the game, right?

Florida wins this one by double digits. After it’s over, people are going to wonder aloud how the hell LSU was ranked so high.

All we’d hear was that Florida has played overhyped teams. Finebaum seems to be buying into Florida a little though.

LSU was up 35-6 in the 4th quarter vs. Utah State last week when Joe Burrow - still in the game - threw his 5th TD pass of the game. I asked in the box 'would you still have your starter in the game w/ a 29 point lead in the 4th quarter vs. Utah State?' The LSU stats are over-inflated. I'm not sure how this game will play out, but I think we can slow this offense down and hold them to under 30 easily. You never know how a game will go - if they hit a big HR pass or get a ST's or defensive score - it could get away from us (or them, if we hit those plays). But if this is a back and forth game with no ridiculously unusual plays, we're every bit as good as they are.

I’ll add to my prediction just by saying Florida needs to hang onto the freaking football. They can’t expect to win games turning the ball over four or five times.

And at what point do we jump into the top 2? Seems to me that us knocking off LSU, Burn and UGA these idiots would still keep us behind Clemson, OSU, Oklahoma and Bama

Give me an ugly win over a pretty loss any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

That leaves to wonder if a pretty loss is the same as a moral victory?
