I love it - especially because it riles up the @Swamp Donkey ’s of the world. If the school won’t invest in facilities to catch up the other SEC schools, at least CDM is looking into uniforms - something a lot of recruits like.

Most every Gator sports team has worn a black uniform in the past (so it's not totally unprecedented), and as has been mentioned: the athletes--and recruits--themselves have expressed a desire for it.
Most schools have done non-traditional uniforms by now. Even blue blood programs like Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Texas have done alternate uniforms in the last decade, so we can't act like only gimmicky programs do it.
I love our traditional uniforms and we have some of the most iconic styles in the game; but if this shakes things up and gets recruits...let's do it.
