Voters were apparently impressed with our effort. We only dropped two spots.

LSU leapfrogs Clemson in the AP.

It's about where I feel we belong. Somewhere between 7-13. We'll see how we handle next week after this loss. Last year after UGA beat us they didn't even look like they wanted to play the next week and lost again to Mizzou. Pull that crap again this year and lay an egg against USC and we'll drop out of the top 15 and maybe even lower than that. Beat USC and UGA and then they'll prove they belong in the top 10, but not in the top 4. LSU looks legit, but our defense definitely didn't do much to change that narrative. UGA has more talent that LSU. Will the loss to USC put a spark under their butts or will they lose faith and cave the rest of the season? We'll find out in a couple weeks. The next two games will tell us a lot more about this team and where they belong in the rankings.

We should be ranked ahead of ND, due to SOS and the fact that we have 1 more win than they do.

We definitely have the more impressive win w/Auburn; but I'm sure its the voters dinging us for the 2 FCS teams. Not that Notre Dame is that much better (New Mexico and Bowling Green aren't much to write home about), but their only loss was also on the road to a top 10 team and by 1 TD.

We are behind ND because writers love ND. Plain and simple. They’re barely a top 20 team if evaluates honestly.

I disagree with UGA having more talent than LSU, LSU has a way better offense than UGA. UGA showed yesterday that if you can go man to man against their Wrs which UF can then they make a lot of mistakes. Overall top to bottom UGA might be more talentta but I'd take LSU offense over UGA everyday of the week.

Perhaps I worded that incorrectly. UGA has a higher average star rating. Some or many of those may be over-rated due to biased recruit rankings, but on paper, they're better players. Is that better?

The loss last year to Georgia our players did not feel they controlled their destiny. It's hard to motivate players when the one goal you set, winning the east seems unattainable. This season that goal is still alive out of these 4 games this was the only one we could lose and still have the sec and potential playoff Hopes intact

They have a large fanbase and sportswriters love to chase money, it's true.

But they're a top 10 team. I don't think they deserve to be in the playoff or anything (even if they win out), but they have a solid defense, a good QB, and good weapons at WR and TE. They lost to georgia on the road by a single score and had a chance to win at the end.
