Advanced stats do and they’re a much better performance indicator than “total yards” or “points per game”. Helps simple folk like you understand why Oklahoma has a better offense than UCF even if UCF has more total yards....

Are you getting a commission for you "advance stats" program?
The problem is that there is no objective definition of "garbage time" and "cupcake teams".
And especially when your formula is hidden.
It reminds me of that computer ratings system that used to be apart of BCS and eventually the guy admitted he pulled the numbers out of his arse.

No, I just prefer critical thought in my analysis. Any stat that gives the perception that a team like UCF is equivalent to an SEC team is BS. Gives fodder for the 78’s of the world that dream UCF is an sec team.

We lucked into Atlanta in 2015 by winning multiple games with a really good QB that was no longer available when we reached the ATL.
We all knew we had no chance of winning that night with the great Treon at the helm

Well we ain't beating either Lsu or Bama in that game this year either. Grantham is clueless against a good passing offense. Our offense did what you'd want them to do against Lsu, taking multiple 6-7 minute drives and ending most with TD's. But the defense could provide no resistance, and the same would happen in Atlanta. Honestly it'd be worse against Bama's receiving core. Outside of one of these teams turning the ball over 4 times to us while we played mistake free ball at the same time, we'd have no shot to beat either of them.
