What a fun game this was to be at....I've never seen a neutral field game so empty on one side and completely full on the other....

AWESOME!!!

It could have been better if Urbs would have met Richt at midfield, after the game. and pointed to the scoreboard.

i was there the year prior

So was I.

But I was also at this one. And I'll repeat, there is nothing better(football related) than leaving the stadium in Jax as the victor. Between the sun setting, the cool, sometimes cold, wind whipping off the St Johns, and the meaning of this game, it's hands down number 1.

Ive been there a few times and we won every time. Always love to see their half of the stadium empty out early.

I went to three in a row between 08-10 and they were my favorite games to have gone to.

I think that 2010 overtime game shortened my life by about 10 years.

Each year was fun for its own reasons, 08 of course the blowouts and embarassing them with the two timeouts, 09 for Tebow breaking Herschel's record, and 10 because it was such a crazy game and Chas(sp?) Henry winning it for us.

The '08 drubbing was just an awesome day. Did our final ultrasound of our first boy the day before, so I was already in a great mood. The game, and the feeling that we may actually destroy everything placed in front of us from there on, was just the icing on the cake.

2009 was fun, but miserably hot.

And I somehow had way too much by mistake before the 2010 game and don't remember any of the first half. So going into OT kind of balanced things out and gave me my money's worth.

I was there for 2010 (overtime), which was the first FL-GA for my wife, who went to UGA in the late 70s, 2014, and 2016. All wins by lesser Gator teams than 2008-09. Still, there is nothing more satisfying in all of college football than leaving that place with a W in your pocket, especially, as in the 2014 and 2016 games, if all the puppies have left the stadium.

Oddly enough I don't remember the 09 game being a scorcher. I remember the bozos in black helmets, Tebow breaking
Walker's rush TD record, and ultimately a sixty minute ass kicking. 08 is by far the most fun of these games that I
went to. Though I will say the 03 game was a lot of fun too ruining their season with a RZ coached team and a true freshmen CL.

As much as I bag on Zook, that 2002 game was a Top-10 all time Gator win, imo. It really set the stage for Richt's time at uga because the momentum should've changed hands that night. What gets lost in all the beatings we've given them over the years is that in most cases, they knew it was coming and we were just better. Years like '92 and '02 crushed their entire beings and devastated their seasons.

I had a drunk uga girl try to attack me just because I smirked at her on the way out of the stadium in 2002. She was ranting about how they were going to still win the SEC, game didn't matter, we still suck, etc. Literally, all it took was me giving her a sarcastic look as I walked by, and she went completely nuts, having to be held back by friends and wildly swinging in my direction. She knew--they all knew--that all the fake bravado they were trying to spew was just a total farce and that we still owned them.

Nothing really has changed, I think the practical fans(though they are few and far between, mind you), know that they've been selling wolf tickets the last two years, and only benefited because UF has been down.

My best friend is a UGay alum, and he knows they have a beating coming their way on November the 2nd, and he's prepared for it. It'll make it even more sweet when 80% of their fanbase, the delusional ones, aren't ready for it. Those are the best ones.

As much as I despise Duncechump, capping off his stint at Florida with that upset of the dwags was great, especially the way we just broke their will by running it straight at them 85 times. That last long touchdown that Taylor scored was a thing of beauty, and it encapsulated everything great about us whipping their asses that day.

I've seen 30 UF/UGA games now, and 2008 is by far my favorite one. It's not that it was just about revenge, UGA started off the season as the #1 team and was picked by a lot of people to win the NC. We didn't just stomp some crappy unranked Georgia team that day, it was complete annihilation of a supposed top team. We had a couple of Georgia jerks on the GSMB talking trash right up to the game, including one asshat who told me he'd bet me $20,000 that I was wrong about UF winning by 20+. He was never seen again. Mr. SEC, the buttsniffing jerk still hanging around this board, also talked a lot of noise and then disappeared for a least a year following that game. He ONLY shows up, even today, when he's confident that all the cards are stacked in his favor in this rivalry. There's nothing to respect about that.

Meyer's focus and obsession with rivalry games is one of the best things about him.

Let’s see, I’ve been to ‘12, ‘13, ‘16, and ‘18. My Jax experience hasn’t been the greatest. That’s why we sell our godd*mn tickets every other year.

Meyer's focus and obsession with rivalry games is one of the best things about him.

Meyer felt the urge to write about the 2007 celebration in his book that offseason. As great as he was as a coach, many of his mannerisms resembled everyday fans like us. He didn’t just let stuff role off his back. It stuck with him. He would’ve been the first to like anything written by GWebb and 812.

And pretty sure that was Buford that bet you. He began decent at the beginning of ‘08, but then mirrored his team’s season by completely falling apart. People like he and Mrs SEC are a perfect representation of uga. Just completely smug with absolutely no substance. The only ones that have ever been tolerable are Golfin and to a lesser degree, Birddog(though he’d often run back to dogvent and complain about what we were saying here:lol:).

I went off and on between 1985-1993 then every year between 1994-2017
There have been some Great memories.
I started taking my two girls when they were old enough to ignore F bombs..

The year we called timeout in the split seconds before Zaire threw that TD on 4th down, the year Spurrier took Dannie out and Doug Johnson threw a TD on his first play but, that’s also the year Errict Rhett ran all over the dogs in the rain.

The year Tebow broke Huuusheels record was awesome.
Drunk Ga dude all dressed up in his “Red Coat” sitting behind us when it happened..he had been talking big **** all game and I was giving it back.
He left right after Tebow scored.

It’s been a wild ride over the years but really fun after Spurrier arrived.

Great memories.

Stopped going after a Ga fan in the luxury box leaned out and smacked me from behind
Breaking my sun glasses and cutting my nose and cheek.
I tried like hell to pull the sum bitch down and out of the box but, cops intervened.

He was ejected and I wasn’t.
But, that was enough for my entire 15 seat entourage to pack it in for Fl/Ga
