And you can't block back towards your endzone
Flags should probably fly on every run play then.

This wasn't meant to bash Emory, as I like him. However, this is Trask's team. What he has done under the circumstances is remarkable. He plays behind a terrible line with no running game to help him, and he's completely unflappable.
In an offense built around his skills, he could have a monster season. It's a crime that he's forced to run the option when he doesn't have to and it yanked out of a rhythm so that Mullen can run "his" offense. Is it more important to run your offense or win the damn game?
He's simply a far better QB than anyone thought possible. Hell, I think he's a lock to get drafted now, and we would have laughed our asses off at that possibility a year ago. In fact, I think he could get drafted higher than Franks.
Comprehension skills? His stupid post completely made my point. Perhaps you should head to Swamp Gas where people are more on your level. That requires basic comprehension skills which Ox apparently lacks

Not only is it smart, we would have beaten LSU if Mullen had used that very strategy. And screw you. However, if you think sitting him and giving one leg Trask all the snaps in an offense that requires a mobile QB is smart...then I dont know what to tell you.
Beating LSU would have involved our defense stopping them at SOME point. Maybe by the 8th overtime we could have forced them to a field goal attempt. Of course by that point the score would have been somewhere along the lines of 96-96.Not only is it smart, we would have beaten LSU if Mullen had used that very strategy. And screw you.
You remind me of my dad. When he owned a marina and bar serving people beer he would also lecture them about drinking and smoking. His stupid post completely made my point. Perhaps you should head to Swamp Gas where people are more on your level.
There is no doubt about it, despite Giraffe throwing the occasional incredible deep ball, he somehow has no accuracy on medium stuff.
Or 40 options and 30 plays that suits his QB's talent. It's almost as if..............*GASP*.............Mullen runs the plays that suit the quarterback's talents!
If you look at my first posts on him, I mentioned not knowing of you could fix what was wrong with him and understanding why Butters was looking elsewhere (Eason and others). He's neither the least or most accurate medium-depth passer. What he is, is ridiculously slow to process coverage, which leads to repeated forced throws into coverage or him bailing the pocket. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum.
That's not an issue on the deep ball because timing isn't as much an issue and Franks trusts his arm.
Somebody's gotta get inside the guy's brain.

I don’t know if any team in the country beats LSU that night. While their defense wasn’t great, their offense was about as good as it gets.Beating LSU would have involved our defense stopping them at SOME point. Meh, I’m not sure they perform at that level if we had our two best DEs available. Might’ve slowed them down, at a minimum.I don’t know if any team in the country beats LSU that night. While their defense wasn’t great, their offense was about as good as it gets.
Oh, Peppridge Farms remebers.Remember when Mullen had Tebow and ran the option every play. Peppridge Farms doesn't even remember that bull shyt.
