I’m in the same boat - gleaning for the most part. But I’ll give the ones I know and maybe others can fill in.
In the Malzahn thread that’s since been closed (thanks ox...), Sas triggered 78 to epic levels. The back and forth was amazing. 78 got so mad that he challenged Sas to arm wrestling (WTF?????) and posted a picture from a decade ago at the Grand Canyon with his son to show off his guns. He also stated that Sas should be jealous because 78 had bigger moobs than SQ. I don’t think he realized that wasn’t flattering.
In the same thread, 78 kept using Sas’ first name like it was a threat. Also threatened to post his resume from a ten years ago. Capped it off by making fun of his (at the time) employment as a server. Confusing but funny, nonetheless. Sas ensured we all knew 78’s first name in the chat box later. Also, Sas made fun of 78 for being triggered easily, which is funny because its ironic. Climate change is fake, @Captain Sasquatch.
Someone else can give you a better idea of the saltygator melt down in the box but as I understand it... He got pissed and decided to post his address in the box so anyone could “say it to his face”. URG, diligent little guy, promptly google earthed it and provided an overhead of his house in Cantonment. Not a trailer but way out in the sticks.
This latest one I have no idea about but it seems our friend 812 took up a poster on their offer to discuss a difference of opinion but the poster backed out. Pansy.
There has been lots of these stories over the years, but that's pretty much it for the recent stuff.
The salty thing was truly awesome. After the LSU game, there was some general grumbling in the chat box. Nothing crazy, no player bashing. Really more about the playcalling towards the end of the game. The box was really winding down in the late evening. Salty stormed in and told everyone they are not true fans by complaining and he was a bigger fan than everyone there. Naturally, that escalated the situation from a 0 to a 10. It brought out all the lurkers and was pretty much a bloodbath for the next 30 minutes. In a normal thread, it takes many hours or even days for these things to get out of control. But in the chatbox, it was like throwing aviation fuel onto barely lit embers. All that dude had to do was turn off his phone and look away. But some posters do not posses that gene.
