Here's the video of it (video should begin at the play). If there's no PI, the ball doesn't get tipped and isn't picked. The interception comes after its bobbled on an attempt to catch due to the PI. No PI, catch. PI called, no pick. I really don't see how you can see this and think it's a bad throw.

:dunno:

Without seeing what other options were there it is impossible to determine if it was a bad decision. Given the coverage the throw could have gotten there sooner and thus been completed.

Two terrible INTs from Trask, but otherwise our Gators took care of business today. No let down after the UGA loss was good to see.
Just looked at the game again. The first interception was on the receiver, running the wrong route. The second was an obvious, blatant PI. Trask put the ball where it should have been.

Back shoulder throws are much more effective when the DB is deeper than the receiver, not between the QB and receiver. Wasn't the greatest decision by Trask imo, but the kid's still learning. I'll accept a few head scratcher plays from a dude that hasn't started since his Freshman year of HS. He's still learning on the job. I was just pointing out, other than the 2 INTs, he played well. I realize the first one was more on Pittman than Trask but it's still an INT against Trask's stats, not Pittman.

Danny Wuerrfel threw A LOT of ints in his career. Trash is a Cinderella story and doing incredibly well, but we dont have to pretend he is perfect. Sometimes even the great ones miss. If they're not missing occasionally, they're not throwing enough and being too conservative.

@zach_goodall: According to Pro Football Focus, #Gators freshman right guard Ethan White allowed only one pressure on 46 pass blocking snaps yesterday. Unit as a whole played well, but I thought White held up very well. Love his story.
