STAGGERING STATISTIC: The Gators have some really good shooters on the roster, but through two games they've gone a combined 7-for-37 from the 3-point line. That's 18.9 percent. And, frankly, that's stunning. ~ Chris Harry

Did they suddenly forget how to shoot, or is there another problem? White, for example.

They played passive and lazy, with no sense or urgency or excitement. Dribbling around with backs to the basket, no off ball movement. FSU is not as good this years as in the 3-4 years before this one, but they always play hard. UF is loaded with talent, but it's up to the coaches to get them fired up and have them playing the type of game that puts them in a position to win. Keyontae Johnson is the only one who seems to be able to fire himself up to play hard all the time. The game does not make or break the season and maybe it will be a wake up call they they are not really a Top 10 team and need to earn it. Mike White has recruited a very talented team and this year will tell whether or not he can coach. The first 2 games make me more of a pessimist.

Do our guys give up on the season or work hard and get better. We will see...
Its over, Boss. White missed all those shots. He lost every game to Hamilton. He never goes to the Dance or elite 8. or recruits elite talent. He is Mclewain of the hard court. In basketball you should win every game. Out of the gate with 3 freshman 3 sophs and a transfer center all playing together like veterans............

I get that we have a young team. I don't expect perfection, especially this early.

The two things that frustrated me was no desire to utilize our talent and athleticism with a faster pace, and missing so many 3s at home. Lots of blame to go around, but the buck stops with the head coach.

Not surprised you would defend this loss. You were excusing it even before tipoff.

Final Four talent, NIT coaching.

You are being way too kind! Is it b/c it is the holiday season or are your glasses foggy? Mike's half court offensive coaching strategies don't even mirror the Tuesday nite over 50 league at the YMCA

White is a joke. Said it last year. He is in WAY over his head. Can't blame it on talent but his team is undisciplined, lazy, doesn't play defense and takes god awful shots which is why the fg% is so bad.

I've been pro white for the most part but FSU lost their top 6. Top 6! Come one man...

Give yourself a "c'mon man". Dude is a dud and the quicker we figure it out and move on from him the better.

This is what pisses me off the most. We just lolly gag the ball up the court and run our offense from the freakin gator head. We didn't try to push the tempo or attack their pressure. Hell we barely put any pressure on the ball on defense either. I don't get it.
