I wish he’d stop saying this game isn’t more important than the next. It clearly is. So is FSU. I loved how UM/SOS made a huge deal of rivalries.

Florida has NEVER won the SEC after losing to the buttlickers.

FSU is not in our league. Even Spurrier said, several times, the week AFTER the FSU game was more important. That's where you play for CHAMPIONSHIPS.

If UF wants to compete for championships, there's ONE game that is a must win every year: UGay.

Stats back that statement up 100% over the LIFE of the UF program.

JUST BEAT UGA.

I didnt say he doesn't develop players I said if my son were a Qb or Wr I wouldn't let him play for Mullen. Facts are fact he only has 1 Qb (Dak) and 1 Wr ( Fred Brown) in the league. I guess you could go back and possibly find a few gators that played Wr for him that's still in the league but while at Miss St he only put those numbers in the league.

Again I'm not saying Mullen doesn't develop talent he just dont seem to produce those positions (Qb and Wr) so I wouldn't send my son to him if he played those positions.

As an 18 y.o. adult and div.1 football prospect with multiple scholarship offers, your son might have some say on which college he attends and which coach he plays for, regardless of your opinion. I also suspect momma might have something to say about where her baby goes.

We don’t get to count his UF time? I’m sure he was more involved with actual development as the OC with no HC requirements.

Seabee, thought I agree at UF he did, if you are a prospect looking at Florida... that means it was over a decade since he produced more than one player that made the league and produced. That's not a good resume at those two positions.

Florida's problem is more than just one coach, the last receiver over 1000 yards was under Zook (Taylor Jacobs). The last quarterback with 3000 yards was Tebow over a decade ago. When you look at Florida as a prospect, and which school you go to is both an emotional and business decision. At those two positions, questions have to be asked. Are my skills of my son going to be properly showcased at Florida for scouts at the next level.

I 100% agree with you're statement but I think he would see the writing on the wall himself.

And that is all I've been saying. It's no disrespect on my end I'm just looking out for my son at that point. If my son were a TE I'd be telling him go play for Mullen he's put several TE in the league and also shown he gets them involved a lot.

My statement stands and speaks for itself. As Reagan said, "Trust but verify."
You're right Ox, I can't produce a son. In fact i can't produce anything on my own because of a condition that i was born with wont allow me to. And my wife and did spend 30k going through IVF and it didnt work for us because she miscarried twice, but through fostering God gave me 2 boys that I took into my home when they were 1 month old and are now 11 months are my boys and I dont even look at them as if they didnt come from my seed. So if you were implying that i wasn't man enough it produce a boy you were dead wrong because it takes a real man to accept someone else's children and step up to the plate that another man walked away from. And not only did I do that I took on 2 babies so Im probably twice the man that you are.

There are some things you don't joke about and this was one of them. I have been open about my situation on this board and I didnt take to kindly to your remarks. I know it was a joke but it still bothered me because I know you knew about my situation and you still made the remark. I felt the need to respond

I didn’t know nor do I give a damn about your personal situation. Sorry that joke struck so close to home it wasn’t my intent.
