FFS there are no "east title". Its SEC or nothing. DGAF about 2015 and 2016 "east titles" in the worst east in decades. As soon as UGA picked up steam we got destroyed 42-7.

Do you seriously think that Butters would have had the same record against our schedule the past two years? You'd be dumber than I thought.

Mullen needs to beat UGA before I care to call him a good coach, but he certainly is better than Butters, and that is a low bar.

Even Sharkhumper would have beaten the Willie Clowns.

Not really clear what you think is good about a schedule with Willie on it. No Gator coach since the 60s has ever had it easier.

Dorky Dan had it easy and failed to capitalize on it on the field or in recruiting.

That’s overboard. Our schedule is sixth most difficult in the country. Comes down to one thing: We haven’t beaten Georgia.

Self fulfilling. If SOS were to beat this Ugly and LSU 56-10 like he usually did, it would be a 30th ranked schedule, at best. It is self-fulfilling because the "schedule is tough" because the teams that beat us have inflated records because we suck.

The east is absolute garbage now.

Donk’s an idiot. You know this. But this will be his comeback: we lost to the two teams that make it a difficult schedule.

Don't be stupid. I didn't take you for sharkhumper lover. Your butters would have lost at least 3 of 5 of those games : Auburn 2019, LSU 2018, Miss St 2018, Michigan 2018 and Miami 2019.

I am not giving Mullen a pass, he is average so far. Quiverlips was rock bottom. Anything you say to equate the two is just giving credit to the worst coach in recent UF history.

Quiver lips was terrible. but it's embarrassing that we hired a guy that is not markedly better.

Seriously, you can do better than that. First of all, Mullen IS markedly better. Second of all, who was the better available hire in 2017? Answer, none.

It boils down to trajectory pitch. It’s too flat for many Gator fans, this one included. That doesn’t mean we can’t get there. It’s a matter of staying power and beating Georgia.

Most embarrassing loss under Mullen's tenure. Yes more embarrassing than UK and Missouri. Its the first time I felt we lost due to almost entirely poor coaching.

This might not be a popular post but I'm not sure Dan and this current staff would be getting a top 5 class even with better facilities. He's a good coach. He'll get you those 9 and 10 win seasons. Is he going to win the SEC? Not anytime soon. Are you ok with being very good but not playoff caliber?

Ole Butters had to back into that second East title after he lost to Tennessee, breaking an 11 game winning streak, or did you forget that?

Not going to argue with this thinking, but what is an acceptable timeline?

I keep hearing the “his players” speech and yet, most of his success has come through Mac players. He has 0 recruits at the worst defensive position (safety), I think 1 at #2 (DT), and if people don’t pan out (after asking for 3 years for development after 3 years to get guys in), it’s asking for more time.

We actually don't know. I wish we could get the players so we could find out. Without facilities and staff upgrades I am afraid we never find out.
