Kind of busy. Skimmed through thread. So what I got so far was that Tua suffered a career/life ending injury when he dislocated his hip while measuring his 3 inch d!ck against some army and navy medics who like to kill people when they aren't saving them. In addition, many of our posters are also medics who like to shove tubes down people's throats and perform surgical procedures on people in ditches even if their chief complaint is that their skinny jeans are too tight. Also, Epstein didn't kill himself.

I can’t believe Saban still had Tua in the game when the injury occurred. I wonder what, if any, impact this has on Tua’s younger brother signing with Alabama?
2Q right? Still, up by a lot. Brutal injury, feel really bad for him. Hope it’s recoverable.

I’ve never jumped in any puddles - never been on a ship - so you’re probably right. And being an instructor just means you had a shore tour - congrats on going home at 2 pm every day.
You saying that when you were in Gulfport you never participated in that Mud Run the Seabees hold? Plenty of puddles there. I thought all stand up Seabees participated

I was deployed and in the field training both times they held it while I lived there. Really wanted to though. Pictures looked fun.

I was reading about this a little bit last night and saw that Jacquez Green had the same injury in the 1995 NC game and he came back and finished his career and was a player in the NFL awhile.

This isn't "career ending". Bo Jackson had the major hip problem because it wasn't given the prompt attention it should have. Tua will make a full recovery and be playing in a year.

Saying that, he can kiss goodbye being the first pick in the draft. However, I bet he still goes in the first 3 rounds.

You pretty much hit the high points.

Pretty sure his brother is already a redshirt freshman at bama this year.

So you’re saying it has no impact on him signing with Bama?

Thanks for straightening me out on him already having signed. It was late and I misunderstood his brother’s HS graduation date when I googled it.

Holee fook. I thought this was another of your trolling thread titles. Prayers for that kid. Awful.
Brutal. Hope it's not as bad as what happened to Bo Jackson. But that was also 30 years ago and medical science has come a long way since then. Tua does not rely on his legs the way Bo did.

It made a big difference in Tua's prognosis that there was an orthopedic surgeon present who was able to immediately reduce his hip dislocation right there on the field. The prognosis is much better with prompt versus delayed reduction of a hip dislocation.

Like all I certainly hope for a complete recovery for the young man. As @GatorFL brought up, it was very reminiscent of Jaquez Green's hip dislocation, which he recovered from and went on to have a great career at UF with some time in the NFL. Wishing the same for the Bama signal caller.

Interesting the twists and turns this thread has taken. The big d!ck sparring should have come as no surprise as Ox himself essentially gave permission for the bastardization of the thread with his candid yet curiously timed confession...
I was in the Cub Scouts for a year in the mid-80's. Boom.

Some stuff I learn on here occupies valuable space in my limited memory bank. Unintended consequence.
