You're not that funny. I'd say you're comparable to Carrot Top or Pauly Shore.

I saw something on TV yesterday w/ Carrot Top. I said to my wife, "That guy's still around?" She looked him up on celebritynetworth.com and his net worth is $75 million! WHAT?????

It's funny, but not accurate. Campbell hasn't said no. He is waiting to see what happens with USC. USC is the domino everyone is waiting for. Fleck isn't being pursued. He is Miike Leach strange and the belief is that he won't do well recruiting in the south. Their top 2 choices right now are probably Franklin and Kelly depending on, once again, how the USC job goes. Kelly leaving ND is a legit possibility. We won't know anything until after the season. Norvell will never happen at a big program like fsu. They don't want to deal with the potential fallout of hiring a guy with his history.

I hear these comments about Norvell’s history but haven’t ever seen any details. What did that guy do?

I feel the same way. But the consistent reporting from various reporters is that if USC wants him, he is gone. We’ll find out.
I can buy that, but you guys are correct. If fsu is pining away for old franky they are going to be dissapointed, again. He aint going to that dump.

I don't know that he's not a good coach, because he's done fairly well everywhere he's been. The biggest issue with him is no ties to SE recruiting and not a big enough name to walk into a home and change that the way someone like Meyer could. To me, he's in a perfect spot because it's a midwest, blue-collar area job, and because I think he thrives on the underdog role. He wouldn't have either of those angles at fsu. Personally, think Usc would be a mistake for him as well.

That said, after enduring 3 years of ridicule from noles about McElwain's teeth, it'd be nice to see the shoe on the other foot for a little while.

Why would Franklin leave PSU? It’s a better job.

To get to the CFP, you usually need to win your conference. I see only one ACC team in this group and no one from the PAC 12.

No idea if he leaves, but this is the Bowden mindset that worked for a decade.

I'm probably just old and out of the lingo loop, but is that what we're calling them now? I remember when I was a retail broker in my younger days, the guys would bring "words" back to the office all the time. Most had drug problems.
I'm not up with the lingo anymore either, but I believe the young kids call what you are referring to as a "thot"

:dunno:
