Most Clown donors probably can't get second mortgages on their rental trailers

I'm impressed they ponied up the buyout. According a business associate of mine that's a big time donor to them the business community helped because they are all going broke due to really bad attendance over the last three seasons. Let's see how deep those pockets are. It is hard to imagine them doing worse than Willie, but it was hard to imagine Florida doing worse than Muschamp.

Butters proved things can always get worse.

So far those idiots have written articles about :
Urban Meyer being their top target
Bob Stoops being their top target after Urban said no thanks
PJ Fleck being the top of their list now (written after he signed like an 8 year extension 3 days prior)
Sanders possibly being a good fit
Why they should promote Higgins
Now Kelly leaving ND
Maybe all those coaches will be their entire coaching staff.

This is true, but only Bob Stoops got himself a scheduled press conference to accept the job.

Well, if the rumors are true about who wrote the big check so they could dump Willie, then, provided she is so inclined, writing another big check to pay a buyout is really not going to be much of a strain.

As much as I hate FSU, this is the truly sad part. There are human impacts to their ineptitude and fair weather fans. Hurts a lot of good people who built businesses around a generally stable program that is crashing and burning due to poor hiring decisions.

I don’t pay close attention to them, but I seem to recall that Stoops’ tenure as DC wasn’t all that happy. Anyone else remember it better than me?
Stoops was DC for the 1996 NC team and was held in high esteem as I recall. He was succeeded by Jon Hoke who was not so well regarded and was viewed by many as a huge downgrade from Stoops.

It will be someone even worse than him.
I suspect you are correct and wonder if that will make it difficult to raise money for a potential buyout. After all, it no doubt was pretty easy to get the big donors to all agree that Willie had to go. Might be more difficult to get them to all agree who the replacement should be and commit to ponying up more dinero. After Urbs, Big Game Bob, and possibly Kelly (not sure why he'd take that job, but he's name we are hearing) who is someone they'd all be happy with, or would at least create some buzz?

It was very disappointing that Bob Stoops even referred Hoke The Joke to Spurrier when he left for OU. I thought and hoped for sure Spurrier would have promoted Bob Sanders, as he seemed much more of an upgrade compared to Hoke.

This. I wrote early that the only way they would get out of Willie’s contract was if an Angel Investor showed up. Little did I know that would happen. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
If she was able to fork over $20M for his buyout she may be inclined to throw more good money after bad if $$$ become the problem for the right candidate.
