We can only hope this is a flash in the pan, perfect storm with Brady and Burrows, and that it'll get him a giant extension, only to never be replicated again, and we see him revert back to more hands on, leaving them saddled with an enormous debt that prevents his dismissal.
Anyonenwho moves away from vall control offense and throws the ball downfield at all will continue to expose SEC defenses.

They are all (well, except ours) designed to stop the run.

If their DL doesnt sack you, you can hurt them.

LSU is surrounded by talent and with no real competition, with good assistants they should have no problem getting a good recruits. All they should have to do is recruit their region
They’re just like Georgia. Talent rich state and every kid wants to go to the flagship school. Wish the Bama and Clemson’s of the world would start raiding them as hard as they do Florida.

If we played both teams 10 times, how many times do you realistically think we would win? Secondly, do you think we would have a worse or better shot at beating them now that they have played us and know what it is like to play a trask led offense?

With better defensive coaching, yes we win.

Not just LA, but also Eastern Texas... talent all around them.

Shockingly enough, our W-L and bowl game aspirations have run exactly parallel with our recruiting results.

3.64 composite in 2019
3.50 in 2020

Seriously, how does a complete meathead like Orgeron outrecruit us, Joe Burrow/Joe Brady notwithstanding?
Orgeeon has been a fantastic recruiter as long as I can remember. Don't you remember him as ripping his shirt off and prancing around with the recruits? They love it. He acts like the other 18 year olds.

There is more to dougies point than what you are inferring seabee. Not only is LA, per capita, probably the most talent rich state in the country, they also are unique from all other states in that the talent from birth has been brought up in a semi us against the rest of the country type mentality.

LA natives are a different breed. Spend any amount of time there and you see it. But it goes further than that. Not only are they different, they are proud of it and resistant to the way outsiders are. They also translate this pride and resistance to collegiate football. THIS is the reason few players leave LA like they do Florida. It's not that bama and clemson havent tried - they have, but are always much less successful. Remember when Mark Barron, a consensus five star and the top safety in the country (now an NFL player), had his national signing presser on ESPN with his family and picked up a bama hat instead of LSU (he was nola area native)? His own mother got mad and walked off camera. She came back a few minutes later and was yelling LSU, go tigers!" It was as awkward and embarrassing as you could imagine. But that's how deep the blood and ties from natives to LSU run. I honestly believe there is no excuse for LSU to ever not be in the playoff discussion, EVER. They have that much talent in state that wouldnt even consider any other school. No one did les with more than ol Lester miles.

All true points. I've also heard unconfirmed rumors that the citizens of New Orleans and surrounding areas are a healthy notch above the rest. Supposedly just fantastic people. Can't be discounted as a factor either.

To your original point though, I actually met and had a brief discussion with a native Louisianian about two weeks ago, and was actually fascinated with her very specific breakdown of the people of LA. I always kind of just lumped them all in together, but she was very detailed in the differences each had(Cajuns, Creole, etc). Maybe just living in more boring states, I'd just never heard of such a thing. But it was a different yet united, especially to outsiders, mindset that I was taken back by. Felt like I was talking to someone from northern Iraq. I will say, she was a nice person. But they're an odd bunch and probably have no business being part of the Union if we're honest.

You have so much tongue in cheek embedded in your posts that I honestly dont know if this is complete sarc or some level of seriousness, but they certainly are a different breed. You left out coonasses though. Those are the inbred hicks of the cajuns or creoles. Everyone elses white trash but coonasses can be any color or ethnic background. You'd be surprised how many native Louisianans to this day still dont speak any English; instead speaking one or more of many different dialects of french creole. One of my work colleagues is from Baton Rouge. His grandmother doesn't speak a lick of English. Not one bit. Shes lived in the US her whole life. That state is crazy man.

I don't do porn except for the nice pictures your significant other sends over.

Your not special apparently, URG has been claiming he has been getting them for years from her... so now you are on a midget's level.

There are some benefits to being short but I've never had to worry about that. I was 6 foot tall in the 7th grade and grew just a little more. Just for info, short girls do like tall guys! :bananadance2:

Yeah, I remember him as Kiffen’s right-hand man at Tennessee.
