The celebration of the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award is to recognize the nation’s college offensive player of the year who meets the awards criteria and encourage student-athletes to succeed on and off the field while having the drive and tenacity to persist and overcome adversity and injury in the pursuit of reaching their goals.

Heck of a descriptor.

The overcome adversity and injury is 100% his story. Coupled with his success on the field, and graduating, it should be a runaway vote for him.

Trophy or not, he has to be one of the best stories in recent cfb history. Impossible to not root for him at this point.

Honestly, he's the best QB that I've seen since Danny Wuerffel.
What he's been able to accomplish under the circumstances is nothing short of remarkable.
:harvey2:

Look, he is doing incredibly well.

But we've had some guys named Grossman, Leak, and Tebow since then too and for that matter you didn't even qualify it to Gator QBs.

Grossman, Leak, and Tebow were playing for much more talented teams.
And I'm not just talking about Gator QBs.

Trask reminds me a lot of Danny, just without the Spurrier Factor.

Imagine if he had those OLs and the running game with Terry Jackson and Fred Taylor.

Spurrier would've given his left nut to have a QB like Trask during those Doug Johnson and Palmer years.
