If I was the AD I would find the manufacturer of the rim's and backboards that are in this gym, and have the same ones installed in the o-dome before they get back to Gainesville. I'm serious.

Today we had 18 assists to 12 turnovers. I think it's the only game where we had more assists than turnovers. That shows better ball movement creating better shots. Nembhard and Glover handle the ball a lot when they're on the floor. For the 1st 6 games we have 70 assists and 71 turnovers. Nembhard is 34/16, Glover 4/5, Blackshear 14/9, Johnson 8/13, Locke 3/6, Lewis 2/4, Mann 1/4. To me, the turnover to assist ratio is a key stat in determining how well we play and while today was very good, they must take care of the ball better and move without the ball regularly if they expect to be a Top 20 team.

Plenty of room for improvement and won by 20. When these guys really develop going to the inside guy, even just one after another running into the rim-close paint, they'll get higher FG%. Higher FG% is hard to keep up with.

Outscored them 33-13 to finish them off. Was tied at 45-45 prior to that.

We don't have to become a running team, but with the good defense we play we should be taking advantage of fast break opportunities and getting some easy baskets instead of turning every possession into a half court grinds. That would improve our shooting percentage considerably. And that's a coaching decision to play that way and to me is a major fault of Mike White.

Yeah, when White came in, I thought he was a fast break guy.

Thoughts on Quez?

He looks promising for the future, but not right now. My comment is based on what I've seen. I didn't watch much of the game today. Based on stats, it looks like he had a nice game. I saw maybe 10 minutes. Other than more turnovers than assists, he was efficient. He's the kind of player who will be here 4 years. By the time he is a junior and senior, he'll be very, very good. It looks like White likes him since he is getting solid minutes (17). If those kind of minutes continue, it will be fin watching his development.

You’re a fairly smart guy with an above average IQ. You know that preseason rankings mean absolutely nothing, especially when 60% of the starters never wore a Gator uniform, and the other 40% are sophomores with 1 season each under their belt.
You realize he is trolling for more posts? He has a talent and does not let it go to waste.

Yes, blowouts against bad unranked teams is what everyone was clamoring for. Consider every question about this team answered. There’s no way any other coach other than Mike White could have led a victory like this.

I’m all for a lifetime contract now.

yeah, I used to think 95% of Ox’s posts were trolling for more posts, but I think it’s closer to 100% now. #MarchToAMillionPosts

You beat an instate rival from the ACC at a neutral site by 20? Hard to down play that or cast a negative light on it. But some have a skill beyond my abilities.........go gators........

If you had watched the broadcast, you would have learned that the program has doubled attendance in Jim L.’s second 4 year stretch. All the way up to 30 fans now. #educateyourself

We also lost to a REAL instate rival, at home, from the ACC and had a damn hard time putting away a nobody at home from the CAA. If you think this is an indication of things being fixed you're not very bright.
