It would take a sequence of events never seen before in college football for us to make the playoffs, so do yourself a favor and don't entertain that notion.

If OU, Utah, UGA, and Bama lose does florida get the 4th spot?

Most likely if this happened UGA would get the nod since they beat florida head to head. A longshot but who knows.
I expect Georgia to get blown out by LSU ending any chance they’d have of finishing ahead of us

Pretty obvious the “cc” stands for Canadian Club.

I like this guy though, drunk posting or not. Better than probably a third of the other threads I see.

I think it'll be close, see Uga hogging the ball with their run game. Lsu's defense hasn't exactly impressed me. I still think the Cajuns win, just not by the thrashing all us Gator fans deserve to see.

Realistically I can see Oklahoma & Utah losing...I think there is a pretty good chance of this happening. Bama losing to Auburn isn’t as likely but certainly not out of the reasonable realm of possibility.

Now, how about considering some “crazy” stuff. OSU losing to Michigan and then losing to a 2 loss Wisconsin (let’s assume they beat MN next week) in the conference title game. Georgia losing to GA Tech and then thumping LSU in the SECCG. How about LSU losing to TAM (not completely out of the question IMO) but beating UGA (with victory over GA Tech secured) in the SECCG? How about Clemson losing their conference title game?

I don’t think all these things will happen. I do believe SOME of these things will happen, though, and the question is just how much craziness will ensue? My guess is that enough craziness will occur to have us at #5 in the final CFP poll, just outside of those that get to play on.

You have a better chance at surviving a head on collision with a freight train than Georgia Tech has at beating Georgia.

We need some better talent before we can worry about sneaking into the CPF. I'd rather we have the talent to kick the door in.

Sorry to say, any of the 7 in front of us would probably do just what LSU and UGA did to us. It would be a proud moment to be in the play off but the outcome would be ugly to watch, we just aren't good enough, yet.
