Almost makes me feel guilty for mocking Driskell’s performance yesterday. Almost.
At least Haskins didn’t shush the crowd.

I'm in DC, been listening to local sports radio all morning. They're all getting a good laugh out of it, saying 'lesson learned'. He was expecting the D to run out the clock, but another Driskel INT w/ 6 seconds left forced one additional offensive snap (which is when he was taking the selfie). If he has a good career w/ the skins he'll be a legend for doing that (they're 2-9, nobody here gives a sh*t!). The guy who was in the selfie w/ Haskins has a great story to tell the rest of his life too.

I think I mentioned this in the Driskell thread in reference to Tebow and his ability to play in the NFL compared to some others still on the roster.

By the year 2025 it’ll be mandatory that quarterbacks carry a camera phone at every game. You’ll be seeing on-the-field selfies with teammates and opponents that are instantly posted on social media. The final score will become anticlimactic to the concept of self-promotion.

The NFL continues to draft these one year starters @ QB and wonder why they fail. This guy, with the O they ran at ohio, was not ready for the NFL.

Not a Haskins/OSU apologist by any means, but I can give the kid a pass since it was garbage time and he just expected the skins defense to run out the clock...and.. it was just a victory formation snap that he missed. It probably gave the crowd a chance to remember:
"Oh yeah, Keenum's the backup"

The skins have so many other more important issues to worry about than this.
Mainly ... the owner.

It was Mirer. I used to watch a lot of Pro football in the mid 90’s. He bought some dogs from a vendor in the stands and ate them with a couple teammates. Seahawks game. The announcers were incredulous. I think he got fined that week.
