Good to see pug stole my annual Thanksgiving thread, starting it BEFORE Thanksgiving. That's something I'm not thankful for and should give him a year off.
Instead, I'll take this post to remind everyone how thankful I am for this board and the people that make it work. I am often painfully aware that it runs so well in spite of me, not because of me, and I appreciate those who take my abuse with good humor. Enjoy the time with your families and thank you for being part of mine.

I am thankful I got all the fall stuff packed up and put away last night.
I am thankful we got all the Christmas stuff put up last night including our tree. And all the storage bins put back up.
I am not thankful that the outside lights are waiting for me.
I am thankful that I taught my kids 5 card draw last night.
I am not thankful that they excellent bluffers.
I am thankful for Ox and this site.
I am not thankful for the time I waste on here with you asshats.
I am thankful for alcohol which will get me through today.

Do all of you not realize that Thanksgiving was invented by the white man after killing Native Americans? Therefore, I will not celebrate. White man bad.

I wish I was able to spend more time here, but I’m so very thankful for my family and job that keeps me away.

Up early this morning and made 2 brown butter sweet potato pies. Gonna make a pecan pumpkin cobbler later so it's warm for the vanilla ice cream. Wish all of you could have some. Happy Thanksgiving.
