Wish him all the best--he had some nice passes on trick plays that proved valuable for our team these past few years, so will have largely good memories from his time here.

Butters recruit? I thought I understood from the experts here he was going to be a stud this year?

Do they ever go back and re-rank classes after kids transfer and/or flunk out?

Let’s face it, Pitts was better than anyone here knew and Krull’s opportunity is very limited. He’s staying classy and deserves support in his new endeavor. I think he’ll be pretty good in the right system.

IMO, traz is rightfully wondering why a big-time program cannot train TEs to do both, catch and block in concordance with different plays.
I know I wonder about that challenge. Coaching?

I may have a solution. Make Pitts a wr for spring practice. Our WRs block. After he learns to block, move him back to TE.

I ran into Pitts' family as I was checking into my hotel before the game. His gramps was a hoot! Anyway, because I met his family, I took a close look at him during the game. He did a good job blocking early before Mullen sent him out on some routes. He did not block a lot afterwards.

Like most, I was excited seeing his potential. I've heard nothing negative about his time at UF (except of course from the posters here about his performance), so I'm disappointed that my hopes for him weren't realized, but I wish him the best.
