Local news says both Leavitt and Taggart are on the list of replacement candidates.

That would be interesting if they re-hired Leavitt in light of them firing him for player abuse years ago. I guess it’s possible but I doubt they go with him.

The trouble with the idea of replacing Grantham is that he statistically has one of the top defenses in the country. .
Statistically, Ugly and Corndog didn't even need to bring a punter. Statistically.

So you really believe that Mullen is going to fire the DC with the #8 Rank in defensive scoring in all of the NCAA?

and you gave ME a rating of stoned - maybe, but I wasn’t smoking crack like you must be.
I’m not a Grantham fan, but thinking he’s going to be replaced by Mullen is living in fantasyland.

Please don't tell me about statistics against 1AA teams when the motherfvkker couldn't stop a team that couldn't score on USCJr.

Will he fire him? No, he will encourage him to take the 1AA HC job he's always dreamed about.

you discount the double-whammy that doomed our defense against UGAly:

1) Grenard and Zuniga were both injured and eliminated our pass rush, exposing our crappy secondary

2) Cager being healthy enough to play for our game, meaning the Dwags has a receiver capable of exploiting our crappy secondary.

Muschump didn’t have to deal with either of those things, and had the benefit of defending against an OC and QB who was too afraid of rain to throw downfield much.

it was like UF and USCjr played against two different teams when they played the dwags.

1) Injuries are part of football so this point is invalid.. You knew they were limited, you had two weeks to prepare.
2) Like injuries health can change week to week, if we are DBU how the hell did we allowed to be outschemed by Muschamp 2.0.

Muschamp also had an offense that let UGA stay on the field due to finishing the game with their 3rd string qb. Would you say that the talent disparity vs USCjr and UGAy is vastly greater than the talent disparity between us and UGAy? If so, the two previous points are even more questionable.

Grantham makes nearly $2 million/year. He's not taking a 1AA job or a G5 job. He's either taking an NFL DC gig, a lower level P5 job, or staying put.

we had no pass rush because we never have one against good teams. against crappy teams its sacksvegas for this defense. against good teams its infinite 3rd down conversions and no punts are us all day long. dwag offensive line made our entire defense their redheaded btch the entire game.

Grantham will be back unless a head coaching opportunity pops up. The only way Strong returns to UF with Grantham back is in some sort of Assistant Head Coach capacity tied to linebackers and recruiting, which is a stretch in and of itself. Someone will pick him up as DC.

I'd like to see that job itnerview:
Candidate: So you fired your last DC who gave you a top 10 defense because he couldn't stop the #1 offense in the SEC with a bunch of misfit 3*'s?
Stricky: Uh yeah.
Candidate: Good luck with that.

@TBTimes_Bulls: I've learned representatives of #USF have been in contact with former Bulls coach Willie Taggart regarding his old job. Taggart badly wants a second act in Tampa, willing to commit in writing he's in it for the long haul.

You a fired bc you are a stinking fvkking dwag who should have never been hired. You are a stinkin fvkking dwag who has been owned by any decent team youve ever played.
A stinking fvkking dwag who has never won in Jax and never won any game that mattered.
A stinking fvkking dwag who sucks so bad the Corndwags and Dwags decides not to bother bringing a punter next time.
