I find it funny how the composite has Beck over AR. Nothing - on field performance, measureables, camp performance, etc indicate he’s better but he is committed to UGA so there’s that. Stars matter in aggregate but lets not kid ourselves - there are certain instances where they’re biased by the committed to team.

His hiring was a double whammy - brought a mediocre coach who doesn’t recruit well and kills our STs while costing us one of the best recruiting assistants we’ve had in years. I’m sure he’s a nice fellow but he’s this staff’s CJ McWilliams.

Idk how we’re gonna get a game changing RB or WR here without the old Meyer bagmen or selling a plan and promises...honestly Mullen inc his staff is too straightforward and truthful with these kids which is great for grounded levelheaded kids (like wingo) but doesn’t work on kids that are hearing lies all day from morons like Smart and his ilk

Beck had a horrible year and has no business being ranked that high. Fact of the matter is that uga has a highly influential guys at both scout and rivals and they do everything they can to prop up uga players. Fsu also has one in newberg and he is completely transparent in his bias in the rankings. Like the TE that committed to them and didn’t even have a profile and was immediately ranked higher than Odom.
Stars and class rankings do matter overall but not to the degree some like to believe. We’re not beating uga in the class rankings any time soon with the way it’s set up

I think all of his receivers from the previous years graduated plus he was running for his life. The same thing that happened to Haynes King who is committed to TAMU. They are both going to be excellent QBs at the next level.
