From those videos above he needs a lot of work. Pretty slow release and not much velocity. Somewhat accurate but not very accurate when rolling out. Not accurate at all when rolling out to his left.

He has a great frame and obviously a strong arm, but he needs a lot of work. It would take two or three years for him to be ready. We need EJ to stick around.

Having Trask next year And having EJ in the wings is going to be great for the team. I think Del Rio is much more polished as a junior than than AR is now.

His mechanics have improved a lot from his junior to senior season. He camped with Mullen and went to a number of other camps for coaching. It is night and day. I think he'll always have a somewhat longer release. That isn't as big a deal in college. In the nfl, it can be a killer. He will be sitting anyway unless EJ transfers.

our existing roster has plenty in that mold. its all theyve been recruiting, regardless of where they are currently projected to or already playing. I like the DL haul this class for sure, but LB and safety overall is still in shambles. if its a blue chip and not a tweener ill take them, but dammit, get some safeties and LBs for christ sake, and real ones too, not the dang tweeners.
Were recruiting Morven Joseph as a traditional linebacker and pretty sure Wingo too.

Recruiting gurus: this year feels a little different. Interest seems higher. Class does not feel set and we aren’t mining for leftovers. Any possibility of dumping some of the lower end guys and swapping them for more highly thought of kids? I’m all for honoring our commitment to these kids once they’re on campus but I say process every 3 star prior to signing if a more talented kid is waiting in the wings. They aren’t Gators until they step foot in class the first time.

Well there's only 7 of them and one's a Mincey, one's an Odom, one's a kicker and two are guards that we sorely need. Doesn't leave much.

@ltraz always like your thoughts if you have time. Here is Jalen Lee's game against West Feliciana on Sept. 20. Game starts about 10 minutes into the video.
