It was Mullen's jacket that was the problem. If he'd left the jacket home he wouldn't have looked like Groucho Marx without the cigar.

I like the jacket though. My thought was he looks good from the waist up, but the baggy khakis and sneakers don’t work with it. It’s like a fashion mullet.

I wonder if he’s got plantar fasciitis. (Like tendinitis in the arch of your foot.) I’m a runner and have been living with it for months now. I can still run with it but hard shoes can hurt like hell, making me limp. Early on, I wore my running shoes all day. Not a good look in my job, I had to tell people why, but his look gets by with “Look at my Jump Man shoes!”

He flew all the way from Vegas for a Georgia game just to watch them not target a tight end once

Think Washington goes to Bama honestly

Mehhhh... still. I like where we went with defensive line recruiting better than him.

LB? LB is a tough transition, hardest on the field IMO (edit:defense). very difficult for kids to get good at reading run vs. pass and dealing with assignment conflicts quickly.

I've never heard that we're looking at trying to transition him to inside linebacker. Generally kids are lineman instead of linebackers despite being only 215 lb because they don't run well enough to be a linebacker.

I wish we would just go grab at least one more ILB who is true inside linebacker, and not rely on projects. The odds are stacked against us with these position change things.

I appreciate that, after the NSD earlier this year, Dan openly acknowledged the whiff on the line and the urgency and did something to succeed there this year.

Defense will be elite for years to come. Now it's time to get some blue chip skill positions filled on offense to help AR15

Couldn't watch but a couple of plays in Diwun Black's game, but one had a cb described as 6'2" flat lay a receiver out. Anybody see it? Sure would like a safety that brought the lumber.

maybe he can recruit some more JUCO talent to UF...I’m so stoked to see him and wingo together

Is Mullen abandoning the TE/HB concept? I have not seen any recruit that fills the reqs for the position. I see TE/WR hybrids.

Bell would/could be and Zip is that mold...but he might be good with zip for a couple seasons and look around for another guy that fits that profile more accurately

I am really OK with both Morven and Wingo being ILBs. When you playing a 4-2-5 scheme, which we are it does not really matter what you call them. Now if Grantham switches to a true 3-4 or a 3-3-5 then that changes. I don't think we ever had the personnel to run a 3-4 but we just might be getting enough big bodies up front. I mean I would like a Spikes like 6-3, 245# true ILB but unless he can actually cover RBs and TEs and even WRs on crossing routes he becomes a liability.

Don't know if it was posted, it probably was, but DT Tim Smith is taking his OV to UF on 12/13 and I believe it's the last one he'll do.

Let's hope the Bama bag men are running a little light at this late date.

Agree - he has to get out of that Bama OV this weekend without shutting down and then we have a chance.

No they don’t. Not even close. Did you even try to look this up?

Kyle Pitts: 51 catches for 610 yards

All three Georgia tight ends: 22 total receptions for 278 yards.

And then we can use Krull and Zipperer to further add to the disparity

Georgia’s two best receivers had a combined 15 more catches than Kyle Pitts.
