Well, he has been "Coach of the Year" in three conferences.
yeah funny how dickweeds like that win the award, but guys like Meyer and Spurrier never do.

They always seem to like those four loss coaches better.

As always, close but no. My only defense of the JM was that he should never have been hired, as we should’ve made a move a year prior(or avoided WM all together ideally). I also gave him credit for a few wins that we got in ‘15 and ‘16 that his predecessor would’ve botched. He was an upgrade from WM and still is. But that’s less an endorsement of him as it is an indictment of Muschamp. Neither should’ve ever stepped foot on UF campus.

But to your original misstep, the “you should probably sit this one out” line was primarily used by me when you were still buying into Steele’s whole story and considering him a “hero” for laughing at a girl being forced into sex. The steps you and a few others took to blame Mullen and his handling of matters—just sure that it wasn’t simply a case of a spoiled weakling who wanted to take his doll and go home—was ridiculous, at the time, and flat out embarrassing when he eventually landed at USC. I laughed, as did others, as your credibility took yet another hit.

Let’s be clear though. I still like you. You’re not a wartime consigliere, but that’s ok. Somebody has to read and revise those warning labels on the back of soap bottles to keep within general compliance, both state and federal. Don’t let anyone ever look down on you.

1. I agree. Ranking Brown that low is absurd.

2. Yes, Helm did miss time this season. I assume injury, but couldn't find out.

Well Meyer and SOS are expected to win. Those awards always go to those who are expected to lose and somehow win.

Let me see, Franks, Trask, Tebow, Dak Prescott.
Sorry, none of those. Tebow's best year was soph, got worse each year. Dak probably junior but mostly bc Dorky Dan still had him on the bench as a redshirt soph.

Frank's gets an asterisk bc he didnt play as a junior really, but it certainly didn't look like it was going to be a better year.

Trash well, what do you say? he hasn't had a senior year yet and he wasn't starting last year.

Tebow improved from junior to senior as far as his completion % and his total passing yds. 2007 was a weird year in which he took upon himself to do everything but we didn't win anything.
BTW, you know football is a team game, right? Like OL, WR do not stay the same year to year. You're not facing the same teams (at least in the SEC). The DC's change the way they defend you. So many variables go into it the discussion is nonsensical. I have no idea why the freak I even took the bait. Yet another chance for you to bash Mullen.

More evidence that there is no coaching agreement in place. If nothing else, Haggins, who’ll undoubtedly have a place on any new staff, would be convincing these guys to hold tight until Monday. They have nothing right now.
Either that or they heard Butters was hired.

Weren't they basically rushing four, with an occasional 5th and jamming guys? I didn't get to watch too much of it, so I don't really remember.
Not just jamming guys but playing them physically all the way through. It did not help that they actually got pressure with Brown and Marlon Davidson and Coe(?). We could not get any pressure on Burrow because the middle of our defense was weak and our ends were injured.

Auburn pressed the entire game. We gave them 5-10 yards. As Leo said, their DL is much more talented than ours and they managed to get pressure on Burrow - and he still completed 76%. But Auburn had 3 sacks, 1 int, and held Auburn to just under 50% 3rd down conversions. LSU still managed 500+ yards of offense.

It’s troll Saturday - you know this! We only have a few left....

And Franks isn’t awful but I think you give him too much credit. He was afraid to attack the middle of the field. Why? I don’t know but I suspect that he read defenses too slowly and was afraid that he’d throw a pick where lots of traffic existed. Maybe he was better than Trask pre-snap but he was way behind post-snap.
