Went fishing a couple days ago. While I didn't catch any fish, I did catch a rod and reel off my gold little cleo. I have a history of catching weird crap.

My wife caught one with a good reel and a usable rod. Hers only had little tiny barnacles that came off easily.

We were in little guana creek jigging live shrimp. Gulp shrimp or shad tail grubs work good to. Work small creek mouths, banks, docks SLOW. Hopping along the bottom.

IF that thing hit my mirror lure there IM Hauling ass to the dock and eating him for supper. Beautiful fish. I remember when catching a snook up this far north would be like catching a Grouper on the flats near Shell Mound.
