Will this be Tom Brady’s last NFL season?

Admittedly I don’t watch much pro football until the college season winds down so I haven’t seen much of Tom Brady this season but I’m watching tonight and he seems to be showing his age. Apparently he looked pretty bad, too, against the Cowboys last week. QB rating for the season is about 55, good for 15th in the league.

So does he hang it up at the end of this season? What say you?

It’s not Brady. He has a extremely banged up O line and outside of Edelman 0 help at receiver, and don’t get me started on the tight end position.

I’m sure by season’s end some middle aged white produce manager at Publix will get noticed and signed. And assuming he can run a 5 yard drag or slant, he’ll be unstoppable and their WR issues will be resolved.

Okay, so do you think he’ll be back next year? Too soon to tell & dependent on if they bring in better personnel at the WR, TE & OL position groups?

Brady has said that he wants to play until 45 as long as he himself is playing up to his expectations and he’s still enjoying the game. So I guess we will see. I like Brady and I feel privileged to be alive to see what he and his team has done. Like Jordan etc. even if you’re not a fan you should respect it.

He is lacking at OL and WR, but Brady also isn't the Brady of even a few years ago. The throws he used to make on time are now late and behind receivers. He had guys the last few years that could make up for that due to catch radius, but they are most retired now.

For the first time he’s looking old. There’s no shame in it.

You can see his arm is starting to go. At most, he plays one more season. I hope he retires, because he won't be able to finish next season. It will be like Marino or Manning with the arm going.

Well obviously since he can’t run he shouldn’t even be playing QB according to some ppl on this board...but after another year under Dan ol Belichek might like what he sees in Trask and win a couple more SBs since he’s a statue that is sooooo passé

It was mild sarcasm and droll wit...albeit the grammar I admit...was atrocious

Wow, the Pats lose their second game in a row. Not good New England, not good!

Side note-by the looks of the piss poor officiating and blown calls, it appears the league wants the Chiefs to go further in the playoffs than the Pats, maybe so they can usher in their new, hot star Patrick Mahommie. Out with the old (Brady) and in with the new (Mahommie) maybe?

Jimmy Garrapalo sure has looked great this season. I wonder if the Pats are regretting keeping the old man and letting their waiting in the wings hotshot leave. Jimmy G. could have been a fixture in New England for the next 15 years. How much are the Patriots kicking themselves over this move?

I had those same thoughts watching tonight

I was coming here to post the same thing. I've never seen such one-sided officiating, and absolutely blatant missed calls, seemingly over and over. Even on the last play, the receiver was completely held across the middle. It wasn't a flag in the end zone (I agree with that call), but how do you miss that hold right in the emiddle?

This can’t sit well with Brady. After being used like a cheap whore by the league for the past 18 years, he’s now being tossed out like a piece of rubbish and replaced by a younger, more dynamic QB. This must be a huge blow to his ego.
