You’re right. I obviously overreacted. I feel silly. Our opponent is incredibly important for recruiting. And as fans, we have a much higher ability to affect bowl designations than we realize. For future reference, in case we’re in this position again later on, how should we handle the news we’re in the Orange Bowl after finishing 3rd in our conference? We need to do better as fans.

Not the point - Mullen has changed our fortunes to where there are no sure losses. That’s a good thing. Recruits know it too. They’ll tune in for affirmation.

You're right. Putting pressure on the AD to for one finish our f vcking facilities and 2 to think ahead in situations like this to lobby for a better situation for the program.....oh and 3 don't be happy to beat up the Uvags of the world to get to a 10th or 11th win and act like you've arrived...

WE barely beat scUM.
Did everyone else watch a different season than I did? There were seriously threads with people asking if we could perhaps sneak into the playoffs bc we lost "close" twice.

This is why the contractual obligations that force these Bowl Tie-Ins need to go. It would be nice to play a Big 12 or PAC-12 team once in a while. Something different...

You are the expert, but I see O-LINE moving fast and blocking crisply. Also saw them fire off the snap and push a highly rated D-line. Or, are you saying that not firing out is a characteristic of CDM's offense?
