Our ALOs in Germany got a “substandard quarters” allowance for living with us because Army barracks (old German WW II barracks) didn’t meet some “tri-service standard” mumbo jumbo!

PS I worked in Afghanistan with a great, but old, retired B-52 pilot... COL “Bomber Bob” Hohman.

PPS “Whats are the first and last things built on an AFB?”
