    Yep. I think at this point you have to do something with one of them. Personally I don't like either but Peterson has been even more underwhelming than Bateman

    Understatement. We're two weeks away from Spring ball...installing a new system would be detrimental at this point. Not sure how well this guy will do but I see why Billy went with this hire

    Hopefully Napier hires Scott for this role. Need a guy who can recruit and not some young guy with no experience. Wasn't really upset with losing Toney and Peags but KC is actually a little bit of a loss. I was hoping Peterson or Bateman would be the ones leaving instead.

    Boosters over at On3 who have leaked information which has proven to be true has said there has been a snag with the NIL. Beat writers for the programs at 247 has said they too have heard an issue with NIL and the holdup is not academic related. Im not sure what else youre looking for.

    Uh I mean considering they are literally reporters close to the program who normally have info, first. Yes, yes I do. It's not joe-blow off of Facebook, it's guys who have media credentials and have a direct line with UF staff.

    On3, 247, other Gator sites. Mods over at 247 pretty much confirmed it was NIL related and On3 did the same. It's not an academic issue.

    Absolutely which is the why this is going to destroy college football...lot of overpaid, under delivering players. These NIL deals need to start having contractual obligations in the classroom, on the field and reprecussions if they dont fulfill their end of the bargain.

    Absolutely. We can debate how bad NIL is for the college game but right now it is what it is. If you want to compete, you have to buy players, simple as that

    The kicker in this statement; they don't care. Look at how they treated Spurrier when he wanted to come back home. Meyer grew bigger than them and they hated it and made sure it would never happen again...hiring a bunch of guys who wouldnt rock the boat and when they did, they let them loose...

    Listen love him or hate him, idc... If you're Napier at this point, you need to get your lawyers together and negotiate with UF to be let out of your contract. If I were him I'd pay up just to get as far away from this place as possible. It's apparent as **** that they have no desire to win...

    Serious question. If our donors/NIL programs/University refuse to pour the money into where it should go, why should any of us spend money on this product? We talk about Billy's misses and or lack of portal action but if we don't even have the money to pay the guy who has literally already...

    It's apparently what has happened...Rashada is in town and isn't asking for more, just what was promised. At this point, if I am Billy, I gtfo of this place. We can argue some coaching decisions, etc...but if we don't have the money we promised a guy, then what the **** is Billy supposed to do...
