I’ve got a few guns I’ve bought that I wouldnt say I ‘regret’ buying but definitely weren’t good financial decisions. Every one of them is a blast to shoot though ;-)
You can never have enough of these things laying around.
Good booze is always a good gift. I have a couple of bottles wrapped at home just in case you need an ‘emergency’ gift this time of year.
Every time I take people there for their first time I always tell them to keep their mouth closed and ‘it’s not rain’….
Yeah bats are great pest control, I love having them around.
I’ve found myself tipping well over 20% lately, when my wife asked why the big tip I just said she came to work, a lot of restaurants can’t find anyone to come in.
Smoking three (been brining for a few days already) and frying four.
I like both methods but you really can’t beat prep and cooking time needed for fried turkey—just make sure it’s well thawed and dry when you drop it in the oil.
Milhopper Publix in Gainesville, bagged/threw stock in the late 80s and 90s. Had a blast working there, all of my coworkers worked and played pretty hard and we got along well together.
Married a couple of girls I worked with there, still with the second one all these years later.
Without pictures it’s hard to say. Cast iron is super resilient, so you might just need to reseason them. Any markings on the bottom, are they ‘collector’ items? If so then definitely rehab, if they aren’t, just season the hell out of them.
So I noticed a month or two ago that you can buy crypto through PayPal.
I figured why not and throw some money in it. It’s been fun watching it, so far I’m about 120% up overall.
I’m not going to put my life saving in it but when I have some extra cash, I’ll keep dumping it in.
I have the tenergy Solis The probes aren’t wireless but I can use up to 6 at a time with different pre-sets for each one.
Bluetooth range isn’t bad at all and the price is pretty decent.
There’s two different models on the kitchenaid pasta attachment, the ones that are ‘squared’ on the sides have horrible reviews. Obviously the more expensive model (rounded sides) seems to be far more reliable. Mines been rock solid for a few years and gets regular use.
Jambalaya started, about to start on the gumbo. Typically have 40-60 people here but COVID, otherwise there would be etouffee, shrimp and oyster en brochette, and bacon wrapped jalapeños.
Not sure if daughter is going to make beignets today or not....
I have the Sams sized container of it. My wife would always have a hard time picking out steaks so it was a must have. She’s gotten better about it so I’ll throw it on burgers every once in a while to change it up.
I’ll probably still be working on that container for a few more years.
I keyed in on the plate of sliced tomatoes, reminds me of visiting my grandparents. Every meal seemed to have half of it picked from the garden a few hours before we ate and we’d always have a plate of sliced tomatoes that were fantastic.
