about a month & a 1/2 ago, I had my first Pliny the YOUNGER. Yes, it is pretty good. However, it does not stand out as much as I suspect that it used to given the surge of big IPAs. The elder showed up in 16.9 oz bottles for a good month or so - also a first. Usually it is only on tap. Given its...

Any Jeff Beck fans out there?

To clarify. I wasn't saying he couldn't play with the stones, I was saying I think it would be a poor match. IMO, it would be like Ginger Baker playing in place of Meg White. He could do it, but it seems like a poor match.

Don't see him jiving with the Stones. I know it is sorta sacrilegious, but while I think the albums made with Mick Taylor are the Stone's best, he sounds too smooth to me for Stones' music. I think Beck would have been way too distinctive for the Stones.

I'm not a huge stout fan which is what gets bourbon barrelled a lot. However, I have found some great imperial IPAs that have been barrel aged that are top notch. Unless you are pretty far west I don't think you can get this one. Another one that is really good is Dank Wood.

Film Reviews - what have you seen lately, what did you think?

Did not read all 71 pages. I saw Mandy last week. My fav film of 2018. It's a psychedelic revenge movie. The bad guys & unlikely allies are LSD lovin' Jesus freaks & bikers.
