    The Spivey mailbag is about as negative as that pumper ever gets. If he is playing down the class and talking crap about the staff being disorganized, be assured it is an utter ****show behind the scenes. Eddie isn’t going to fix that mess with a new DC.

    I went to a couple of Mullen coached games and they were much like the Butters games that I attended. Total **** shows. I don’t exactly live in the Gator live game footprint so it turns into a multi day event for me. Waste of time and money.

    The football program is going to be allowed to wallow in mediocrity for years like the basketball program. If the university doesn’t care why should I? I’ll watch if I happen to be around when the game is on but no longer must see Saturday viewing.

    It is a surprise to everyone except those of us who never wanted Mullen from the start. We always knew he would fail and beating 9 or 10 cupcakes with Butters recruits didn’t change anything.

    Zook was better. /thread FSU and Miami were fully operational Death Stars when Zook took over. But he managed to out recruit both of them in short order. Recruiting is pretty much the main thing that matters in college football. Zook did it, Mullen doesn’t. Pretty much seals the deal for me.

    Mullen is the worst recruiter at UF since maybe ever? Ray Graves would out recruit him. We know Charlie Pell and Galen Hall would run circles around him. Doug Dickey is maybe the closest comp? He let the talent level fall in the 70s.
