Without a plea deal or the charges being dropped, his season was going to be eaten up by time anyway. If Thrasher is concerned at all about the perception of the program Cook will not be eligible until this thing is adjudicated in some favorable fashion.
...the only thing I liked about Christian Ponder was that he got his degree in 3 three years. I thought that was pretty impressive.
I actually think that these two incidents, and Winston's career of violations, are going to force FSU to change course. There are already investigations ongoing...
I watch and follow all Gator sports and the SEC Network has been great for being able to watch more "other" sports than ever before. I chose softball because of the climb to championship status over the years, then achieving the National title the past two years...about an 8 year run of true...
I know Jimbo has a lot on his plate right now, but when did he find out about the incident and the allegations, and why has no action (like a suspension pending the outcome of the investigation) been taken? They are so worried about their reputation and yet continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

I watched the video again and here is my take:
1. We don't know what the nature of the initial contact was between them...but it is apparent that it...
I think we will use the pass, or threat of the pass, to open up the running game. Inexperience on the line will be the deciding factor as to whether this works or not. I am ready for a long season as our team rebuilds and will take any positives at all.
You don't have to look far to see our very own Tim Walton and the National Champion Women's College Softball team...now back-to-back. I think it took Walton 8 tries in the WCWS to finally win. Mike Martin is the poster child for not winning championships, not Kevin O'Sullivan.

1. In an elimination game there is no excuse for not starting your best pitcher.
2. The Hit-By-Pitch that was called back was bogus...the ball was off the plate and the batter did not lean in on it. That killed a definite rally that could have changed the entire momentum of the game...
