Martha MacCallum discussed this with Guano Williams today and he laughingly explained it away as just harmless humor. When Martha asked him what would happen if Trump made that comment, Guano responded with something like "Well, of course there would be an uproar, come on." He also doubled down on the obviously racist intent in the DeSantis monkey-up comment. Double standard much?
