But yes, pretty impressive - especially for baseball. Winning 10 in a row over a good program like that is hard to do....and we have one of our worst teams in years this year.

I'm just hoping we can make a regional and the guys improve as the season moves along.

I read where Sully mentioned that Crisp will be ready to go Saturday. Does that mean that Leftwich has been demoted? I know he came out of the game early against Cowbell for what I heard was a blister, but he started last week at Vandy. Has anyone heard anything?

Maybe he means ready for his closer role, if needed. He pitched six on Tuesday, so I doubt he would start a game on Saturday.

Perhaps, but Crisp on threw 60 or so pitches on Tuesday. Also I think Sully has decided there really is no closer and if he has a hot hand like Scott last nite, he will ride it. However I think Ruth has been annointed the closer now b/c he throws much harder than Crisp.

That was a fun game and as always a great venue and continues to be a great idea. Big crowd with a lot of folks milling around the concourses having a good time; bars across the street were packed before the game. Wind was howling and blowing straight in from left/center. That HR was surprising but RF was the only place one was going to get out. Outfielders were playing ridiculously shallow, so when McConnell belted that double it was apparent that ball was getting down. Trying to remember when they started playing there but I've never seen the Gators lose.

Both teams are pretty bad this year, but we've had their number for 3+ years. Hope the streak continues. Mike Martin is at exactly .500 in his career vs. Florida and tonight's game will determine a winning or losing record against the Gators. FSU still leads the all time series vs. Florida at 128-120-1, but Kevin O'Sullivan is 28-16 against the Noles.

Gators beat the Clowns once again. This time 3-1. Mid week pitching was big time. 8 strikeouts and only 2 walks. No errors for the Gators defense. Huge win no doubt over the garbage criminoles.
