11-2 Season

I'm sure GSMB old timers remember the angst during the 11-2 season. There were many of us that saw the dreadful offense and called it out for what it was. Then there were the pumpers who said we didn't know anything about football and should go back to playing Xbox and Playstation. Why was it so difficult to see the smoke and mirrors and luck that got us to 11-2 and that style of play was going to get us beat? That may have been the luckiest season in the history of Gator football. But luck eventually runs out.

There were probably a couple of kinds of different people that were still thinking Muschamp could pull it out. There were definitely some that just don't know sh*t about football. They liked him personally and thus thought he was a good coach. Others probably were just eternal optimists. Lastly once it became apparent that we were stuck with him another year, some were just hoping for the best despite it being against the odds.
